Glad you posted here my man, I wouldn't have seen them otherwise- as this is easily my favorite thread on blowout!

Some great pieces in there!

No Willie Wells for me. Yeah Weaver is cheap, but I want a Perez Steele Auto'd Postcard. Plus, with my recent acquisition this past week- I won't be buying anything for months. I bought out part of a collection. No autos, but all HOF vintage for my various sets!

Here’s a link to my old collection page. I can’t seem to log in as admin anymore, so it is way out of date. But all the big pieces are there..,

https://raymondautocollection.webs.com

Check it out. Front page has the biggest names. A lot of current HOF are still listed under “current players”, so it is really in need of an update. Sorry!

Raymond,

Wow is this a small freaking world. I'm so glad you're on here. You know, when I started my HOF auto collection, I stumbled on your site. It had to be like 2008-9 or somewhere around there, and totally admired your page. Luckily, in time, I've managed to get plenty of names.

Having said that, I may have even signed your guestbook from way back when.

I'm going to PM you right now. Would be a joy to hear back from you!
Bill

Thank you, I still remember buying it. Moyni called me and let me know that he had just bought a Wells, I don't remember what he paid but he said that he had gotten a steal on it. Wells wasn't even on my radar at that particular moment but I logged onto Ebay anyways and came upon this striking version. Again, I don't remember exactly what the BIN was but do remember that it was quite a bit lower than what Mike had just paid. He still got a great deal on his but I have to thank him because he led me to getting a spectacular deal on mine. I just wish that I'd been so fortunate after he called and told me about his Ruth.

Wow! Can’t believe that someone remembers my site from 10+ years ago! Glad you liked it! Looks like you have acquired quite the collection as well! Thanks!

Just checked it out again, I actually saw your website via Bill's website for the first time about 3 years ago!

Since you inspired him, and he in part inspired me- thank you! You have an awesome collection, and I really enjoy the site. I hope you get back into it, and are a frequent poster here!

Also, if you'd like to check out my website, here is a link to it:

If you do happen to check it out, I'd love to hear what you think!

Just visited your site. Holy crap, better then most museums. A lot of guys on my “impossible” list are sitting in your collection (with multiples of most). I’m just in awe...

Thanks for sharing!

Working on picking up some of the more attainable HOF members for my PC. This makes 117 different HOF members in the collection. Lemon has some really great numbers in his career, especially since he missed a few years due to military service. Dude was a work horse for a decade.

Look forward to it!

Manwhile, here’s one of the newest HOFers...congrats to Ted Simmons and Marvin Miller. I don’t have Simmons but I do have Miller. Don’t know why he signed way down there, but hey, I’ll take it...

Well, the time finally came... I've started up a HoF Auto PC. Not sure if it was the recent Veterans Committee vote, the fact that this thread is getting to the end of the alphabet, or just the inevitable, but I purchased my first 5 yesterday. I have a few rules/stipulations about the cards I'm looking for (and obviously I'm going to get to the point where cards aren't even an option), but it's kind of amazing to see how relatively cheap some guys are.

I already have a basic HoF RC collection (I'm up to 84) but I figure now is a good time to fire this one up. This should be fun, and thanks to you all for the influence

NICE!!! well...there's now 128 different 'on card' certified baseball HOF'ers.
That covers a good amount for sure.

If you don't follow my Youtube, it might be good to...I'm no professional, but want to do a series on how many guys are at certain price points.... People fail to realize just how many you can get affordably, and then how fast that all changes once you tip over into the that next level....
