My old man stopped by last night and said he had a card he needed me to send to PSA for him. He mentioned it was a mystery redemption auto and it peaked my interest a little. He showed up with this...

Pretty happy for him. He always complains that he cant pull anything good despite 30+ years of opening packs together which say otherwise. lol

Agree. This would make a sweet base flagship design IMO. But no...we've gotta have moonbeams and diamond lasers with space flotsam.

Came from 2019 Topps Series 2. It's the Reverence Patch auto subset. I believe it's hobby only, but could be wrong.

It looks like a reverance auto from Series 2. I pulled a Mariano Rivera that looked similar.

Those reverence Patch autos are among the nicest cards I've seen in a while, especially as an insert in flagship.

I'm shocked those Reverence Auto Patches aren't more sought after than they are. They are BEAUTIFUL cards from a Topps Flagship product. They still sell for decent money but I think they're HIGHLY underrated (from someone that doesn't own one).
