It's like the Dollar Tree cardboard version of The Hangover.

Kev looks like he's fully prepared for the VH1 98 Degrees 20 year reunion special.

Ha, ha. Too many that won't admit it. They do all of the big shows throughout the US. I always wondered how they could afford the expenses that go along with traveling, hotels, meals, table fees, etc. since they don't sell a ton; they're mostly trading. At first I thought the groups like them (they all set up next to each other) were just thoroughfares for laundered drug money, which still may be true. Anyway, by last Nationals it became clear for me what was going on. It was only a matter of time.

Side note: Does Vinny Ho have the longest left index finger or what?!

I have seen Vinny purchase many high $ cards at shows on the East Coast. Never ran in to the other guys that I know of.

It's like the not hot, male version of those instagram 'models' always taking extravagant paid trips to Dubai.

Except these guys get laid at remote truck stops outside Kentucky.

If I buy a card that PSA or BGS graded 10, I expect it to be all original parts, not restored or altered or whatever they’re calling it today.

The odd thing is about 15 years ago, I submitted a card to PSA that I pulled from a pack that came back as "trimmed" which baffled me and I then sent it to BGS for grading to see if they would evaluate it the same or if PSA was just wrong, and BGS returned it as Altered (Trimmed). I had a great relationship with BGS, so I told them it was pack pulled and I was the original owner and how it's odd that it's coming back as if I'd done something to the card... and the response I received was very logical. I was told, some cards have production errors and are mis-cut, but those can't be graded as legitimate cards, so it's not like the moniker of altered/trimmed is an accusation more than just a fact of the state of the condition. I was happy with that explanation.

It boggles me why anyone would trim an on card Michael Jordan 1/1 Auto. Its absolute madness!

Agree but this hobby is so OCD it's hard not to feed into it with grading.

Edit: Looking back at this card today, I don't know if the top edge has been trimmed, however both the left and right edges appear to be. That's mostly how the top right corner on the rear was fixed.

Not sure how long the grading buisness can go on. Honest people buying these expensive cards and then finding out this nightmare. I am thinking about selling off all my graded stuff. Who can you trust, You dont know.
