Chuck isn’t considered trimming. The fact that he can look at the card and scare it into being perfect does not actually trim the card. The same amount of material remaining on the card, his gaze just realigns the atoms in the ink and paper into perfect harmony.

This is only for the bravest of clectors though as just being in the vicinity of Chuck could end up with your molecules rearranged.

Who cares what you use, just send it to PSA when you’re done. The inept grading crew will get you a 10 no doubt...

Looking for Andre Dawson Serial numbered cards that are his jersey number - either #8 or #10. So looking for cards like 8/8 or 08/99 or 10/250.

Less than $20 inveatment can make you rich.
Apparently lots of people use it when making homemade tarot cards.

It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads, and I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone.
This Fletch reference is just fantastic

Just get an industrial matte cutting machine like the one they use to prepare mattes for frames. Cleanest cuts I’ve ever seen at any size increment. It’ll be pricey but after a few subs to PSA you’ll be in the black for sure.

Think it's more specialized.

High end mechanical engineering niche.

Kinda like comparing a miniature lathe for making tools, watch parts vs a typical wood lathe.

Superdan posted a example of one of them in a thread. It was on Amazon for 1200 bucks but then you need a specialist to make the blade cut even smaller, so probably 1500 bucks total is my guess

Default What kind of equipment do you need to trim cards?

http://www.speed-mat.com/mat-cutter-cmc.html

This or your standard paper cutter would do the trick depending on the thickness

I’ll find out when Xmas arrived, I ask for a paper trimmer.
Hoping to see it under the tree.

I do arts and craft with kids.
