Default What kind of equipment do you need to trim cards?

Just curious. Appears there are quite a few that do it. Can’t be some high priced paper cutter, can it?

They’re hard to find, but all you need is a Hattori Hanzo sword.

Awww, come on guys, it's so simple maybe you need a refresher course.
It's all ball bearings nowadays. Now you prepare that Fetzer valve with some 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads, and I'm gonna need 'bout ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone.

I have actually wondered same and know answers are likely easily discovered via Google, but never cared to research for obvious reasons (honesty). I would assume some kind of laser cut would leave the cleanest edge..? What a state of affairs.

Gotta be more clear. Are you looking to go full on Moser trimming or just a Card Dr?

What's next OP? A thread titled: 'How the heck do they re-seal boxes?'?

Judging by some of the cards I've seen in slabs.... A pair of scissors should do the trick. lol.

There is actually a device known as a Calculus bridge that many use. You can google it, hit images and see what it is.

I thought Chuck Norris just looked at the cards and BAM! PSA 10. Don't get Chuck upset though, or it's PSA 9 for you.

Scissors. I cut this free hand with scissors at my desk at work. Coworker friend who collects couldnt pick out the trimmed card, nor which edge was trimmed once I told him which card.

PSA hasnt a chance fighting technology like this
