Why do you assume he's paying interest? Its 2k in credit, anyone who has a career can pay off 2k in credit immediately or next paycheck. He only paid in credit because who carries 2k in cash.

You know some of us actually pay our credit cards off in full each month. He said he used his credit card to get the points. So its actually a discount, not an added fee.

If that truly was the case, the buyer may have been able to negotiate a better price by saying hey let me hit an ATM I can get cash for a better price.
