I have a decent stash of Rockies players 2014-2018. I sold my Tauchman clear from '18 Update for $150, not sad about that. I'll get a pic up in a day or so, working a full double today and don't have time to lay it out and photo them currently.

What a beautiful card it is

I think the clears look really nice with 2019 flagship this year. The outer edge just disappears

Can anyone confirm since these debuted in 2014 that they skipped making these for
2015 Update
2016 Update
But all other series since 2014 s1 exist?

If you really want a clear but you can't find/afford one, look and see if they have a card in clearly authentic. Not 100% the same thing but it's pretty close

I have pulled three or four Clears over the years, but never anyone big. These are the only ones I have in my PC at the moment...

Confirmed. Full base sets of 2014, 2015, and 2016 Topps series 1 and 2 every card has a clear /10. 2014 Topps Update full set has clears /10 as well. No clears for 2015 and 2016 Update. 2016 Update also skipped on the vintage/camo /99 parallel that was in series 1 & 2. In 2017 Topps made the clear checklist smaller and gave them to rookies and star players only. It's been this way ever since.

Yes, that appears to be the case. It definitely debuted in 2014. As for Updates, I just did a search for “Topps Clear Update” on COMC for current and sold listings. No ‘15 or ‘16 cards appeared.

Thanks for this. So the pre 17’s were a full parallel set as opposed to the 100? Card partial set since. Guess that makes those older ones even that much more special.
Never even put together that 16 update skipped the vintage stock too. Another reason that product is still so cheap.

These are my most recent ones I think, from the last couple months. Very interesting bit of “Topps being Topps” where the clear/10 Kelly is the only version of his flagship RC that actually has the logo. Not sure how that went down.

That’s interesting. Topps was being Topps w the 2019 Acuna also. No Rc cup.

I do, but even after requesting PSA re-slab mine as a PSA 5 (which they told me was the post-damage review grade), they just sent it back with a generic, no grade PSA label stickered onto a Card Saver...

After they kept the card for 4 months for the damage review, I was honestly just excited to have it back.
