Random question, I’ve run into three high-end redemptions out of boxes over the past week. Is there more/less risk to selling these on ebay vs regular cards? Are there things in place to prevent buyers from being super shady? What do you recommend?

Yes. Unless it says gold version, which means /25. Not sure what they classify the /5 as, but it should state tag or logo.

I'm guessing platinum is a 1/1.

Gah. This lone box has been staring me in the face. Just grueling.

I think what's going to determine my breaking habit is whether or not prices reach or get close to the $700 buy mark for the gb's. At nearly 300 profit per box, that would mean I'd be looking at trying to secure around $4900 in singles resales after fees, or approximately 5500 or so before. On 7 boxes, that's not an extraordinary feat, but scoring at least 1 Zion auto as well as several nice Ja's would make that task infinitely easier. No Zion auto would be catastrophic. I think I've witnessed Steelcity open around 7 online and they got 1 Zion IIRC.

My main thing is having to deal with grinding out the sales of ~42 cards to reach that golden number, especially with singles prices of the lesser guys dropping.

I can always take that ~2100 profit, compound it, and flip it in crypto or future 2019 Zion releases. Just tough to turn that down if I can get there. If things stay at the ~600 level, then I think it's a no brainer for me to just rip and go. Either people aren't sharing or tucking them in pc's, but there's still a truckload of 1/1's of the top 4 still unearthed.

The new mantra:

NO PASCHAL, NO SOUP FOR YOU.

Tried to pick up a new listing today at 680 and it was sold by the time I clicked on it! Did get one slightly cheaper after though. Most of my offers are just sitting on ebay waiting to expire tonight. ugh

Ah, hope you get one! This is making me ponder going the Facebook route, but I have as much experience using them there book facer technologies as my great grandfather.

You killed it dude. Congrats. Was that the dual zion patch non-auto? I think that may have something to do with it, as so far its the zion rpa's that have been twinzies with the almighty paschal. But I think the patches and dual/triple autos kind of do their own thing.

edit: now that you mention it, I think I do recall a non paschal box with a Zion that also had a NAW rpa. May be a pattern there as well for the horizintal zions. All of this hurts my brain.

This is true. But 7 boxes of guaranteed re-sell profit is what's making it tough for me right now. Hitting just 1 Zion auto in 7 boxes may make it tough getting to that same golden number. But it's so damn tempting.

Just tel yourself that you’ll flip all future 19/20 fotl basketball boxes. I think these are the best bang for your buck, especially when you compare it to the insane prices prizm fotl will go for.

I hit a Gold /25 Vertical RPA and there was no Paschal...not sure if you're only referring to the /99 or not though.
