What is a good price for 2018 Topps Update?

I’ve sold quite a bit of sealed Update in the last 6 months, knock on wood no shenanigans yet. As mentioned above I just take a few mins and glance at the feedback, if anything looks fishy just cancel the order.

Ripped more hangers and a few blasters, got on such a cold streak I decided to put everything left in the back of the closet for a long while.

Final results:
64 hangers, 4 blasters
12 Acuna 250s
16 Soto 300s
10 Torres 200s
1 Ohtani SP
Nothing else of note

Some of us like to collect, but and sell wax and we like to talk about wax. We like to talk about what we have bought and what we have sold. Sometimes, we want other people's opinions on when to buy and sell and what type of pricing.

You're absolutely right, and I've seen the same conversations end up going in the same direction. For once, it would be nice to be able to have that conversation and continue it without the attacks. I'm pretty sure Houdini and the other Admins could identify and take care of any problems without the additional "deputies" lending a hand.

Seriously. I started a thread to talk about 2019 Series 2 wax because I made a decent investment in it. I wanted to hear other people's thoughts on it and discuss it like this thread.

It ended up doing well, but in the beginning, it was a few posts on my hidden agenda! The funny part, I could have flipped the cases, made a couple hundred each, and run. But to me, it was a long term investment which of course is why I wanted other's views.

Exactly my thoughts on what I have. Misery loves company and it comes out in droves at times, hoping to bring others down to their level by creating accusations. I've enjoyed your thread on 2019 Series 2. That is another intriguing product.

I think it has huge room to grow. That's the key. Do you buy a box of 2018 Update for $250 and hope it grows, or do you buy a box of 2019 Series 2 for $70 (or whatever market is) and watch it grow? What is more likely to move upward?

Exactly. At the current levels, it's so risky forking over that kind of cash for more Update. You just never know where it's going to end up. 2019 Series 2 is the next fun one to watch take flight.

What is going to be fascinating is watching Update over the winter. Does the usual winter dip happen at all (even going from say $250-$200) and do people panic? The odds are, someone else will break out in 2020 from that series.
