I think fans and especially clectors will have to adjust expectations for Trout in his 30’s.

Look at Pujols, 3,000 hits, 600 HRs, 2,000 RBIs.......is that what people talk about?

Not really, they talk about how he played better as a Cardinal. Of course he did, he was in his 20’s (or whatever age you believe he was in the 2000’s)

As far as this year, I’d love to see Trout get to 50 HRs, hopefully his feet will give him the chance to have that opportunity.

Agree. Seems like an overreaction.

ROTOWORLD:

Mike Trout (toe) is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the White Sox on Saturday.

He left Friday's game in the fifth inning with right toe discomfort. The Angels have downplayed any concerns thus far but any time the game's best player is not in the lineup it really hurts for his fantasy owners.

Well... no fish in the lineup, but I got Fish Mail...

The Red 9 from jjeanius's auction (along with the black 8), and the Red 8 from nomarkj... thank you gentleman for the fast shipping and great packaging!

So here are the siblings with the rest of their family.

Screw the "fantasy owners" what about the overreacting clectors?

Here are the amount of games he has played by year:

13 - 157
14 - 157
15 - 159
16 - 159
17 - 114
18 - 140
19 - 133 so far

Trending in the wrong direction and it typically gets worse as you age. I'm not calling him injury prone just saying the last three years he has missed way more games. Missed a total of 16 games in 4 years between 13-16.

So if he plays more games than last year, the trend is complete opposite of what you are saying now. 19 games left for Mikey... plays 15, that's 148, trending upward.

We'll see what he ends up with this year. Hopefully at least 145+.

Regardless it will still be more than 10 games.

He just has to finish this season healthy. He is guaranteed to win his 3rd MVP at the ripe ole age of 28. He is just starting his prime and should continue for 3 more seasons. Plenty of time for him to move up the career WAR list. after his 12th season he will most likely be in the top 35 all time... possibly top 25

I'm a huge Trout fan. He will have 3 MVPs after this year. I hope he stays healthy his entire career.

We all hope his career does not go the Pujols route in terms of his body.

He missed a good amount of games in 2018 due to a death in his family. Sure ultimately those are missed games, but not exactly worthy of an "injury shortened season" designation.
