Yes, very much so. I also ended up sending in several Alonsos, Eloys, an a few of Tatis.

There are live autos of Vlad, tatis, Eloy and Pete in series 2 in a few different insert sets- I think they are all on-card too. There are some big "hits" possible..
I just remember Brent and a few others screaming from the top of the rooftops about jumbos being a real heater in series 2.

Doesn’t that just mean the product could be driven up because it’s so hard to gem many of these good rookies in S2? I remember mine being bad as well, I only have one Alonso base out for grading right now. The other big rookies were all in rough shape.

I'm thinking when some of these guys heat up next year, it'll rise greatly. That's my hope.

Is it just the cards coming out of the jumbo boxes that have the condition issues or is it same issues with hobby boxes as well?

I opened 2 hobby cases. About 1/3 of the rookie cards (Eloy, Tatis and Alonso) I sent to PSA.

Wow, thanks. So sounds like it doesn't really matter whether you buy jumbo or hobby in terms of condition issues (I had really only heard of the condition issues specific to jumbo before).

Condition issues were/are a real thing with S2, so it makes me think the PSA 10's will carry a premium as not everybody will be easily hitting them

Surprised to hear anyone cares about Series 2. There are plenty of Targets that were stocked with 3 boxes of single packs two months ago that have not sold any of them! Too many printed

Topps Update and Topps Update with Chrome say it's not happening.

Keep checking Walmart website and you can find 2018 Topps Update, hows that doing?

There is a retail case (unsold) for $899 on ebay. I think that's a bit high. But it's promising!

So your going to buy all the Topps Series 2 that you see in the wild? You would need a truck to clear out all the retail sitting on shelves for this hot product

Same thing could have been said about 2018 topps Update a year ago. I was literally buying hobby boxes for $50 a box for a long time.

You've got to quit chasing the puck, and go to where the puck is going to be.

Does anyone have odds for all the different retail formats? That is another reason 2018 update retail is so good the odds were basically the same across all formats minus the blacks, clears, negative found in hobby/jumbo

Speculative wax buys may be hard to find this winter.

Absolutely it will be. This was one I was going to go strong on this winter. Because prices dip 9 times out of 10. But this one has gone up nearly 50% now since release. I think we see mind boggling prices next year on a couple of good 2019 products. This one leading the way. After 2018 Update, everyone seems to want to hold some stuff sealed now.

100% agree. Outside of retail chrome update later this year, I think this will be a monster in 3-4 years.
