I picked up some Gleyber when prices were low but could use more. Prices still low enough to make a return down the road or just be happy with what i was able to get when prices were still low?

I was thinking of picking up a Heritage Action of Acuna maybe i will get one of Gleyber as well.

The ebay market is floooooooded now with US200 lots. Every one trying to get that $10 per card! Watching that 78 count lot just to see what it goes for.

Also have a ton incoming from COMC, should be here next week. Glad I got in early cus now they are too pricey for me.

Hi All!

I recently opened a 2018 Topps update jumbo hobby box and hit a Gleyber Torres auto on a short print (looks like a sticker auto). It is not numbered out of anything.

I cannot seem to find any reference and/or price on this anywhere. Any info would be much appreciated! Does Topps randomly do this on Short Prints? (Note: I recently got back into the hobby. Landscape has changed so much from the junk wax era I grew up in!

I’m looking to pick a Gleyber Rc up. Should I go after Update, Chrome, or Flagship? Which is the way to go?

Depends on what you are looking to spend.
If you want something cheap pick up a us200
But there are lots out there.
If you want something more rare and i feel with a lot more meat left on the bone pick up something better depending on your budget.
I personally think the next cards to take off will be the heritage chrome and refractors.
with the heritage you get a beautiful throwback card with he chrome being serial # /999 and the refractor /569.
Prob the most undervalued of any rookie right now, i mean if gleyber us200 is selling for $10 each and there are 100,000 of them then you have a heritage chrome #/999 selling for $30...... seems kinda off

but if money is no object my top list would be

1. Heritage black refractor #/69
2. Update us200 black #/67
3. Update Independance day #/76
4. Heritage refractor #/569
5. Heritage chrome #/999

Just my opinion for non auto rcs.

If you're an average collector and not talking variations and just the normal cards, I'd go:

Update US200
Topps Series 2 #699
Heritage #603

The available variations are pricey for all three at the moment.

That's a beauty! I believe they are, what, roughly 10 copies of the SP/SSP autos? That's some good $$.

Feels like the 2018 Updates boxes should be much higher then they are. Lots of good hits available just in base cards alone.

I know #699 is the flagship, But for me the photo just sucks. Unfortunately they used it for 3d and sapphire as well.

Thanks for the info! Helps zero in on how many there are, which helps explain why I could not find any other examples.

Is this an example of something I should get graded? Or leave it ungraded? I have never sent anything to be graded...

The 699 factory set and 699 ASG set is a different/vertical pic...think it's the same pic as the US200. Is that image any better?
