There is no way to know the actual number of sets.

Correct, that’s why I stated as possible instead of actual sets

Correct. I was piling on your post for the benefit of the other poster.

I have 1 complete set and 1 set of 80% complete or so, but this set has had a few get sold to help others complete their sets. I was initially going to have a PC set in a binder and 1 where I would send off to PSA at points during the process, but the cost of grading was prohibitively too expensive for me when I have a child heading off to college.

I still have 2 complete sets through card 228.

Gave up today on trying to order the new 3 as Topps' website continues to be a dumpster fire pretending to do e-commerce.

No sarcasm. Just some banter. We agreed on the need to set the other fellow straight.

Probably less than that, only 2318 possible

I hate to say it, but the 223-225 set was my last and I haven't even looked back! Its a cool idea, that took almost 2 years to realize it wasn't for me. If anyone knows anyone that wants a complete set to 225, let me know! Also, still own the domain if anyone wants it.

I was a two set per week player at minimum. I dropped to one as of last week.

I assume I get to keep the tattoo, but only on the one ass cheek. The other one will have to be removed.

Harold Baines the last "outfielder"? As far as I saw, the first 72 outfielders said this, ending with Baines.

Gallo, Vlad Sr. and Kepler all just say "outfield" on the front. Soler, Bernie and Eaton mockups as well.

Yes.

The Magic 8 Ball said, and has been saying, “It is decidedly so”.

This set got me back into collecting a few months ago after giving it up as a teenager. I’m happy I’m coming into it now as the hype is dying down for it. There isn’t a let down for me. I’m just collecting, not flipping, though I do have a few weeks I’ve bought extras. I’m looking forward to sticking with this for at least a year or two and seeing where it goes. If this becomes really niche I’ll be all the happier.

Ohhhhh no, I'm no dummy. They'll definitely drop again.
Henna tattoos only, from now on.
I got the guy who does them for Halle Berry.

Obviously, they're cutting corners with print runs dropping.
Those two letters on every card add up!
(I heard they're no longer reimbursing Seto for colored pencil sharpeners, either.)

I think the biggest indicator that this set is a bust is that Ronald Acuna cards of every type have utterly exploded in the last month with only the living set one staying stagnant. I realize a boatload of LS Acunas were made relative to other LS cards, but NOT relative to other Acuna rookies.
