I feel like its probably legit but also absolutely nothing. Some drunk guy was probably trying to take his picture and McGregor wasn't having it. I can't stand the guy but this is a non story IMO.

If it was Jon Jones that did this, everyone would be up in arms about it. People act like McGregor hasn't had behavioral and legal troubles the past few years. They are always quick to brush it off when its McGregor, but since 2017, McGregor has:

2017: Went after Bellator referee, Marc Goddard and slapped Bellator Commissioner, Mike Mazzulli, in the face after jumping the cage before the fight was official called.

2018: Attacked a bus with several UFC fighters in it by throwing a dolly at the bus window. injuring Michael Cheisa to where he could not fight. Arrested and charged with three counts of assault and criminal mischief

2019: Took and smashed a fans phone. Charged with strong armed robbery and criminal mischief

This doesn't even include him hurling full cans/bottles across an entirely crowded room at Nate Diaz, where he could've very well injured someone or the post-fight incident after the Khabib fight where he sucker punched a guy that looked to be trying to go and contain Khabib.

I know that Jones had a horrible hit and run incident, but people want to act like McGregor doesn't have a history of this type of behavior. Its not an act anymore. Regardless of how "minor" taking and smashing a fans phone seems, its still unnecessary to behave in that manor and it shouldn't just be brushed off by everyone. Maybe this is just me, but it should be considered more than "a non-story", especially since he clearly has behavioral issues.

I thought he still had some time left on his stay out of trouble clause the judge gave him from his 2018 dolly throwing incident? I could be wrong.

I thought he had some type of conditions like that based on his plea deal in that dolly incident?

He got one year probation for that incident. It's only been like 6-7 months. He could be in worse trouble than originally anticipated.

So he completed the terms of his plea deal on the 8th, and then got arrested again on the 11th. If one didn't know any better, one might think that was all part of the plan.

Definitely not a great representative for the sport. I get that he fights for a living but gotta be able to chill out. Certainly in a different category than guys like GSP, Franklin, Couture, Royce Gracie, Griffin, etc etc.

AND he never got around to defending a belt. He earned enough in the Mayweather fight and has a big enough fan base that he will be around for years to come. Even if those years are filled with loses. Thanks, Mayweather

There was talk at one point of GSP coming down and meeting somewhere in the middle of one of the weight classes and fighting Conor.

I would like to see that. I would enjoy watching Conor get put to sleep.

All McGregor is concerned with now is pushing his Private Label Whiskey, it appears his fighting career is now secondary.

McGregor was in Boston for St. Patty's weekend, attended the Bruins game even giving the team a pre & post game pep talk which was an absolute riot!!

Sounds like he is also being accused of sexual assault. Not having a good 12 months. If it’s true, he’s a bigger POS than I previously thought.
