Man every time I read one of these I regret more and more not being able to make it due to funds/schedule/whatever. Last year's show in Cleveland wasn't even a 3-hour drive for me but I just couldn't make it. Chicago is less than a 6-hour-drive and I'd be able to sell the trip easily to my wife because she loves Chi-town but again, just not plausible.

For you to find a dozen Kukoc's you need is pretty awesome! If I found even one 90s Mitch I needed it'd be a victory haha.

The BO community seemed to be in full force too! Honestly I'd look forward to that as much/more than anything, finally putting a face and a voice to all the great members I've interacted with for years now, yourself included of course

I'm a super budget-minded collector but I feel like, to do this show right, I'd probably want at least $1000 in cash/tradeable goods to make it worth my while...despite my propensity for dumpster diving (read: scouring $1 boxes for an inordinate amount of time). Any recommendations as far as that goes? I assume most of the people set up accept paypal so I wouldn't have to worry about bringing tons of cash right?

Regardless, thanks for the insights, glad you enjoyed it, I swear I'll get there one day!

bahaha good to know. I'm actually so paranoid about that stuff I'm a front-pocket-wallet guy. I figure if you're good enough to get it out of there without me noticing? You deserve it

Some dealers accepted paypal BUT cash is king. When it comes to how much to bring that is tough. I spent MORE than I was expecting but I also wasn't expecting to find as much stuff as I did. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them or get you to someone who can.

dont underestimate people... i myself can be pretty seductive

nice recap Jeff. that lil Kukoc booklet is the type of thing that really makes PC's stand out to me. that means you've impacted other people in the hobby. a few of those giftsi have from others are among my favorites.

the Wennington is nice. i thought i read he was doing free autos?

Funny you should say that. I am a front pocket wallet guy, too. I reached into my pocket for some cash and a dealer accused me of stealing a couple $2 cards. He mentioned it to my buddy on Thursday and then confronted me the next day on Friday. The only thing in my front pocket was cash...……...

not sure how I missed your comment. Didn't think of the booklet in that light. GREAT call!

Wennington was a free auto for VIPs. I am a VIP but didn't pay for VIP....LOL LOL.
