There are so few of those available that a 7 might as well be a 9 or 10 anyway.

Given that set had a retail component it’s entirely possible a couple dozen have already been destroyed or are forever lost.

2011 Update is brutal on borders, corners and centering. I have a Blackmon Black PSA 8 and I was elated to get such a high grade.

The last PSA 7 Black Trout sold for $3500

That PSA 7 has been on eBay forever. It was up for something like $11k OBO around the time that PSA 9 showed. The scan is so poor it’s hard to tell what the eye appeal of it is.

Court, I think the one they are referencing was the same one that sold within the last year. It did have a low BIN on eBay, but I believe we found out that there was more to it than that. Something like there was a purchase, plus a trade. We'd have to dig back through the Trout thread to find it.

That was the PSA 9 sale that was a complete disaster. I do not recall a PSA 7 selling since I started following Trout.
