Glad the warriors are taking DLo, didn’t want to run it back with him on the lakers.

Give Alex Curuso a chance, he played extremely well and he doesn’t have to do too much.

If Kawhi is smart he’ll come to LA otherwise he’ll be going up against us at some point and it will be an uphill battle for him whatever team he’s on.

Going to go out on a limb and say the Knicks dodged a bullet by not signing Kyrie Irving and Durant. That’s two of the biggest premadonas in the league. KD will never be the same again after that injury

Wonder what the Lakers do if they don't get Kawhi? They missed out on a lot of guys at this point. Maybe they had an agreement already?

Knicks getting another stud in Taj Gibson 2/20mil. Where has he been playing, I liked him a few years ago.

If that's the case then the Clippers and Raptors have an agreement with Kawhi also as they are not doing anything either.

That's true.

But you also have to consider that he will likely get much higher quality shots playing for the Warriors, especially in 3-guard lineups with Steph and Klay that space the floor.

Nobody wants to go to the Clippers and the Raptors aren't just gonna go signing guys when they have a great chance to bring their star back

Knicks followed getting a very good starting PF for 20M with getting a backup PF for 15M. Not to mention they got another guy who mainly plays PF for 10M.

They didn't have any choice, really, because of the salary cap rules. And let's not forget that next year was likely going to be Iggy's last year with the Warriors anyway (he'll be a FA next off-season).

I was thinking the Warriors would trade Iggy at the deadline, but it was doubtful he was going to still be a Warrior come playoff time next year.

Only disappointment is that we (apparently) aren't getting anything back for him and are having to package a 2024 1st in the deal....I think at the deadline the Warriors would have been able to get a 1st coming back instead of having to give one up.

And now they will likely have no problem re-signing Kevon Looney and/or Quinn Cook.

So the Knicks have all the PFs and the Wolves have an abundance of SGs. Two great run franchises
