That's my worry about Jimmy. He's lost a step, especially on the defensive end.

Concerned about what age 33 Butler will look like.

D. Rose on the pistons feels like a great fit and imo we got him for a steal. I thought the pistons would be sitting on the sidelines in free agency, and they make a great under the radar move. This never would have happened if fat azz Stan Van Gundy was still the GM/coach.

I mean, there's a minimum cap, so they had to spend it on somebody.

Could have spent their money worse, I guess.

Surround Simmons and Embiid with shooters. Butler doesn't really give you that.

50/50 about the 6ers giving Butler a 4 or 5 year deal.
I think you have to. Bodner wrote a sign and trade with Heat is harder than with the Rockets due to salary matching issues either going or coming here.

if you don't keep him you need to get Beverly/Green and Seth Curry and probably keep Ennis as well unless there's another name they're targeting that I don't remember.

As a Wolves fan you will see him look like a coach more times than you will see him on the court.

He will be better than Reggie Jackson for the games he is able to play. That's a win already. Good guy to mentor Khyri Thomas also so maybe Thomas can steal Reggie's spot.

If they get those guys then I'm not as worried about losing Jimmy but Jimmy still plays high level D and is a clutch guy. Still early, we will see how it all plays out. Either way Go Sixers

Definitely something to think about down the road but still like Jimmy on this team.

The knicks weren’t prepared to make KD an offer... said by ESPN reporters

The knicks sign Julius Randle 3 years 63 Mil.

*looks around*

Well I guess there’s of course next season - 10 years ago ???

I understand your thinking but The playoffs really showed
Why we should keep Jimmy. Tobias disappeared and when we really needed someone to step up it was jimmy

At this point I don't think they keep Jimmy.

Tobias will be making 35+ plus for the next 5 years.

Simmons is up for a new deal after this season.

Embiid has 2 more years coming up, then a new deal.

That'll be probably $100 million between these 3. Don't think they'll want to pay Butler another 30-40.

Why even bother, KD is damaged goods. Not like he was going there anyways.

I feel like Temple to the Nets is underrated. Only $5 million a year as well.

I think Randle will impress in NY.

They would give Jimmy a 4-yr max which is $36m per in a heartbeat, Elton might throw in a kidney. I think you may need to re-calibrate a little, Jimmy was amazing vs Toronto.

so, currently the Sixers have Ben, JoJo, Tobias, Thybulle, Bolden, Scott, Zhaire, if Jimmy straight up walks we can sign any max player. Or turn that into 2 good shooter/defenders and an Ed Davis/Jarrett Allen. But Jimmy's not going to just leave and only get 4yr money. He'd be leaving $45m on the table.

Also the $9m MLE and a $2.5m trade exception.

So....anyone can tell me again why Klay hasn't signed yet with GSW? It'd obviously be for the max, he ain't taking a discount with Durant gone. Everybody said, oh, it'll be a done deal right after 6pm but....crickets.

I still think it happens but what the hell else is GSW doing with this time?

76ers fantasy: Jimmy walks but Klay signs here and leads us to the title after returning the last month of the season. Talk about a floor spacer with Tobi for Ben and Jojo!

Well, players can’t sign until July 6th, so there’s that.
