Philly must be concentrated on Horford and Harris? I like the Redick pickup for NO. Good vet for the team too.

Could be a another good veteran to teach the young guys on how to deal with the NBA.

So the 76ers have three free agent starters. They lose one, albeit the worst of the three.

Nope, Golden State's best days are over.

They will still be a competitive team, but the days of them being a juggernaut that nobody else in the league can touch are gone.

Once they resign Klay for the max (assuming it happens), they'll be over the cap with a healthy roster of Draymond Green, 31 year old Steph Curry, 35 year old Iggy, 34 year old Shaun Livingston, Damien Jones, Jacob Evans, and Alfonzo McKinnie.

And yes, someone did handle Steph/Klay and Dray in a series.

Exactamundo. They need at least one veteran presence to keep those kids together and help mentor.

Was kind of hoping they'd sign Horford as he'd be the perfect big man for Zion to learn from, but I think his pricetag may be a bit too high for his age.

Kyrie hit the big shot game 7 and Dray was suspended. I guess it was all Lebron, right?

To be fair, he was the primary defender on Kawhi, and that took a lot of his energy and focus.

But still, I get it.

This roster right here is it for the Bucks. Middleton, Bledsoe, Lopez.... is that going to be enough to make Giannis stay?

We'll see.

I will miss Redick but he can’t defend. He’s making what he should and we weren’t paying it

Did I say anything at all about lebron in my post, or was it you that brought him up?

NBA is where the stars align

It’s going to be that way until everyone has multiple rings and really no way to separate good and great player accomplishments

LOL

Why are you bringing up LeBron all of a sudden or the 2016 Finals? That post had nothing to do with LeBron or that year's finals

My guess: 76ers [which means owners not Elton] offered 5 years but not the full $188m max.

Jimmy: I'm gonna go talk to Miami and Houston to see if I can get the full max in a sign and trade. I still don't think he can fit in Houston at $38m a year with the 76ers not wanting Capela.

If Heat don't offer the 5yr max in a sign and trade then I think Jimmy stays. Just my guess.

A 76ers roster with: Ben, JoJo, Tobias, Josh Richardson, Olynyk, Horford or Brogdon, Ennis, Scott, Zhaire, Bolden and Thybulle is interesting. That's 8-11 playable guys in a tough playoff series depending on how the young guys develop. If Horford as opposed to Brogdon, they'd sign a 3pt specialist as well like Seth Curry on a much cheaper deal. That lineup can win a title with improvement from the 2 young studs.

Brogdon to Pacers, wow. $85m seems a bit steep but not terribly so.
