If it's winning or business I have to think Leonard opts for Toronto or Lakers, with Clippers only being the choice for some unknown reason only Kawhi knows. But what do I know.
The Clippers make total sense for Kawhi. They have an excellent core and bench, a solid coach and a great GM. If he wants to still be the man than that is a perfect spot for him. Kawhi has got a ton of hype again from TOR, so LAC is a step up from that.

The situation is better because it's Cali. You know, where he wants to live.

@steinline
The Rockets believe they have a trade partner for Clint Capela but do not intend to deal Capela unless they are sure they can acquire marquee Sixers free agent Jimmy Butler, according to a source briefed on Houston's thinking

Goes home
1st Fiddle
Rivers
SAG
Room for 2 max guys (Leonard and Harris? Middleton? Horford?)

It makes a ton of sense if he wants to go home

Kawhi would be stupid to sign a short deal.

I think he's going for the max no matter what.

At worst it will be a 3 and 1 deal with the final year being a player option.

He's getting that phat contract somewhere. It would be funny to watch him join AD and LeBron, could LeBron really handle being the 3rd option though? I seriously doubt that.

The Spurs have been pretty quiet.

I'd love us to grab a dynamic Superstar. It's a shame we can't get Paul George or something, he'd be a great fit.

I like our youth coming through and I'm excited for Luka. Dude looks terrific.

I was listening to first take today and they had Jay Williams on and he asked Stephen A Smith and Max if kawhi joining AD and lebron would be as weak as Durant joining GS. Both said it would be but they wouldn’t criticize him. Stephen A smith said he wouldn’t criticize him cause he loves going to LA for work and doesn’t enjoy Oakland too much. Max said he wouldn’t cause he’s a lakers fan. Hilarious media bias like this help shape the public narrative. Just find it funny. Stephen A Smith also used the same reasons butler should stay in Philly (in a position to win, a fan base that will love him more than anywhere else and they can offer him the most money) as reasons that kawhi shouldn’t stay in Toronto (also said he doesn’t enjoy going to Toronto too much as well). It’s funny how some of these clowns report stories in a way that makes their own lives easier/their own personal preferences and try to create a climate that supports where a player goes.

Yeah, far too often these guys opinions are actually heard. No joke there's a lot of new fans in Australia that listen to these guys and take on these opinions.

Max was saying the other week he'd give Iggy the last shot over Steph. Good lord.

Al Horford just started following Zion Williamson and Jrue Holiday on Instagram
...apparently happened at the same time so there could be something to it. He's a nice fit there too.

Lonzo-Jrue-BI-Zion-Horford is a pretty good team with a lot of upside if the young guys play well together and improve over the year. Also they'e gonna be nasty defensively, especially if Zion's D translates immediately.

I’m sure he’ll have plenty of options come feb/mar.

Could be a good move to cherrypick a contender to join.

More shocking.... collison retiring or Niko going to Europe?

Reports are that Niko is leaving 3 years and 45m on the table.

Kemba to Boston. Seems like another incorrect Kyrie fit.

I don't mind Kemba going to Boston. Why lie and say you want to stay in Charlotte though? Be honest.

I have to think his intention was to stay in Charlotte, but he was unimpressed or insulted by their offer? Why else would he claim he wanted tti he there and then leave?

It seems he honestly did but Charlotte doesn’t want to spend the big money on him.

As for the fit of Kemba over Kyrie, Kemba seems like a much easier person to play with and won’t be trying to take touches away from Tatum and brown. Don’t get me wrong he is shoot first but Kyrie was not just shoot first but almost anti teammate, just a strange player

So as of now, these are pretty definite:

-Klay back to GS
-Kemba to Boston
-Vucevic back to Orl

these look probable-ish:
-Kyrie to Bkln
-Horford to NO

D'Angelo Russell to meet with the Wolves at the beginning of free agency tomorrow and he was told they will have room for him and KAT will be part of the meeting!!
Side note, Andrew Wiggins deletes Minneapolis from his Twitter and Instagram!!! Traded soon!?!?!
Wondering how active and what will happen with the Wolves tomorrow!! I am excited!!

NBA:
Warriors you can afford a 375 mill payroll (assuming Klay and KD stay)
Also NBA:
Sorry Minnesota you can't afford KAT, Wiggins and Russell on the same team.

I just don't understand why Boston would see Kyrie leave and replace him with another...Kyrie.

Undersized shoot first guards that play little defense. Seems like the anti-Boston move.

The Wiggins contract is rough, man he's overpaid. They need to ditch him for whatever they can get. Surely there's a team that can absorb that contract. It gets worse too, so Minny really effed up here.

I read that he is getting paid close to what he would have gotten here. Possibly 3 yr/40 mil in Europe, so only leaving around 5 mil to go play at home.

If only the Wolves had drafted Curry instead of Flynn and Rubio

Draft better

What choice do they have? They probably feel Rozier is gonna get paid no matter what so they'd rather have Kemba and let Rozier walk.

Do they not sign Kemba and invest in Rozier? Kemba is getting paid on the back of a great last season. Boston may regret it for sure.

He just turned 24. Would be stupid to give up on him. Klay didn't become good until 24. Many great players take time in becoming good/great.
