I’ve never owned one of these. I was wondering about them from people that have.
When you see scans online and it looks like holes or part of the card is coming off what is happening there? Does it go all the way through where essentially you have a card with a hole in it? Does it happen after being slabbed where part of the card just falls down into the bottom of the slab? Any info would be much appreciated Thanks |

The card "stock" is clear acetate, and those things that look like holes are where the surface printing has come off of the acetate. So, you can see through the card there. I just got an MJ in the mail on Monday, but I don't have a picture on me at work. I'll try to remember to get some pictures when I get home today.

just black spots, not holes. Like exclusive nba said, it's part of the peeling off of the acetate coming off. I would think it's from sticking to something else like another card, but not sure.

I’m on mobile and can’t find the link to share an embedded photo, but I think this will help you get a feel for what those spots are:

I see 2 gems with pwcc and they both have holes and you can see matching shaped particles floating in the case. I know everyone who has them says they love this card but they all seem to be falling apart |

I want to say I don't believe these deteriorate over time beyond what you see. Older pics ![]() ![]()

It’s a really cool card in hand! The condition issues weirded me out for a bit and I held off on grabbing one, but I’m glad I did. Even though it’s probably in 7-8 condition based on others I see on eBay.

I haven't followed their graded prices enough to say if there are many overgraded examples or not.
