Anyone can get seriously injured tomorrow. It's a calf and it's the Finals. KD may never get there again.

If his calf tears completely, he's getting the max still. It's not like the dude relies on his athleticism.

I'm leaning towards KD reverting back to the scared eyes KD anyway.

This is it for the Warriors, do they really want it? Toronto want it and it'll take more than some contested 3's to keep them from it. Play with some heart and brains FFS.

Congrats Toronto. The game tonight is just a formality. Series is OVER!!! Was a great run by The Warriors. I think even with the 3 Championships, they will always have a sour taste in their mouth for not finishing that magical 73-9 season.

Certainly not over yet.

I hope they come out like they did in the 2nd half of game 4. They need to end it tonight.

The city will explode if they pull it off.

Vegas odds show the Raptors as -440 favorites to win the title up 3-1 with 2 more games at home remaining...

When the Warriors were in a similar spot up 3-1 vs the Cavs, they were -7450 favorites

Warriors are only +350 underdogs to win the title down 3-1, in a scenario where the team in their position has been 1-33 in the last 34 times

Vegas is a) scared of the Warriors coming back
b) still giving no respect to the Raptors

A. Warriors have been the perennial favorite. Often times the team down 1-3 is a far inferior team and the Finals outcome was more or less inevitable before it started. It’s not often the consensus best team in the league ends up in this spot.

I say KD doesn't play tonight...or any other game in the series if it goes on.

I'd love to be wrong, but Toronto has been the much better team for the vast majority of games and if not for an 18-0 run by the Warriors in game 2, this series would be over already. I just don't believe KD playing at 80-90% healthy after a month off will be enough. The Warriors just look like a tired team mentally and physically. I could see the defeat in Steph's eyes last night in his interview with Rachel Nichols.

You must use an awful book if you're seeing +350.

I bet the Raptors to win at +240. Hedged yesterday with the Warriors to win @ +475 before the KD questionable announcement but it's still +400 almost everywhere.

Need to have a key Toronto starter suspended for game 5 to start.

And have your star average 36/12/10/3/3 over the 3 elimination games.

Would hate to see him re-injure himself.
Agreed. The players wanting him to rush back and potentially re-injure his calf makes me think that Durant really is an outsider/hired gun for this team. I get the feeling that the hamptons 5 is really the hamptons 4+1. That core 4 of iggy, dray, klay and Steph is close and Durant will always be on the outside. Another reason he’s elsewhere not year IMO

I can only say that....I wouldn't have thought, at least up to this point, that the series is more or less one-sided in the favor of the Raptors. The absence of Durant really hurts the Warriors.

Josh Lewenberg
@JLew1050
Hearing Durant went up to the Raptors' old practice gym on the upper level of the arena to get extra work in after shootaround today. Officially, he's a game-time decision but my sense is he'll play. What condition he'll be in after missing over a month is the question.

It’s +345 right now at all major sports books

Durant is a full go and will start. Good luck

The only team they beat in the Finals without Durant started:
Dellavedova
T Thompson
Lebron
Mozgov
Shumpert

That team is straight trash for a ECF winner, period.

Warriors win, KD will get the credit. If they lose, he can say he’s not healthy and he toughed it out. Seems like a win-win for KD

Not quite but all good.

Even Bet365 still has it at +350.

Bingo. It's a free call option on being the hero.
