Default If you had money to get to be a collector. Where would you put it? Like baseball..

Hello,
if you had money to buy cards. Where would it be? I like Bowman chrome autos.. Just not sure what the best route to go in acquiring them. Anyhow any feedback would be great!

You don't know the best route to go in acquiring Bowman Chrome autographs? Ebay maybe?

The title is so grammatically incorrect I was forced to decipher it.They should have an age limit on these boards.7 year old children should not be allowed.

Same as I have all my life. Just buy a pack of baseball cards when I can, and enjoy them.

Kind of depends on what you enjoy... super hard to answer without some sense

For instance:
— making $$$? (Btw many differing opinions here)
— personally collecting your favorite player?
— place your gambling spend someplace new? (Ie rip wax, participate in group breaks)
— like to be part of the community / make some new friends?
— hunting to create rare sets, rainbows, etc?

For me, as an example, I’m some mix of two, four, and five

Not if you want this hobby to grow more than it has been.

Jake Burger, Mickey Moniak... guys that are coming off injury or a bust. Young enough to come back.

If it were my money potential HOF'ers... Machado, Altuve, Lindor though that is a 15 year wait.

OP, anything you enjoy and have fun with. For me, I focus on low serial numbered 90's and 00's cards of Griffey, Bonds, Jeter, and a couple of other players I like. However, recently I have been buying a ton of Trout's in low serial numbering. Everything I buy is almost always graded.

As long as you are having fun and honest.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it was a long day. It was posted at about 4 a.m. so you'll have to forgive my writing. Actually pretty well educated but it was Friday and 4 a.m. So not much more clarification needed. I should have waited until the next day. Yes, there is eBay and buying a few things there. But I was wondering if I should look into buying Bowman chrome packs and try my luck there. But there are a few different Bowman editions that contain some chrome

I assume this is aimed at determining which is the creme de la creme of rookie cards?

Some really prefer bowman chromes since they are technically a player's first licensed card and have the most lineage. Their values are always consistently high.

Then there's some who hate prospect autos and absolutely must have the rookie card logo. Seems like a fairly recent phenomenon starting with the Trout Update hype.

Some love heritage because of the throwback nostalgia.

I'd say you can't go wrong with bowman chrome. It's a hobby mainstay and has a ton of colored variations to pursue. And if you already liked it, then the financial aspect is just an added bonus.
