Default 2019 Bowman Mega Base, who are you grading? My top 5-10

So I was fortunate to get a bunch of Mega Boxes from Target online and have a bunch of base mega's that I'm thinking of grading. Whether I go BGS with no subgrades and hope for some 10s or a bulk PSA order is still up for debate, but I was wondering who you'd be grading?

Here's what I'm thinking, not necessarily in this order

1. Wander Franco
2. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
3. Victor Victor Mesa
4. Peter Alonso
5. Ronny Mauricio
6. Joey Bart
7. Seth Beer
8. Yordan Alvarez
9. Eloy Jimenez
10. Fernando Tatis Jr.
11. Jarred Kelenic
12. Nolan Gorman
13. Luis Robert
14. Bo Bichette
15. Alec Bohm
16. Freudis Nova
17. Andrew Knizner
18. Julio Rodriguez
19. Noelvi Marte

Kind of considering the rest, most likely if I go the BGS route and hope for some 10's
Adell
Florial
Madrigal
India
Mize
Singer
Chavis
Whitley
Sixto Sanchez
Victor Mesa Jr.
Luciano

I think Franco, Julio Rodriguez, and Freudis Nova. Mauricio is in the conversation as well. I’m hoping there’s a good PSA quarterly special in July to send these off in bulk.

Yes, there seems to be illegal things happening with respect to grading.

Many of you are forgetting the is a huge thirst for this service. The vast majority if cards seem to be graded correctly. One day grading may go away. Today, however, isnt that day.

I hope the moderators suspend people who continually try to wreck threads of others who like grading.

Try to be nice to each other cause it's the right thing to do.

OP, I only try to grade cards with staying power. The better the player the more likely to be desired. Knizer for example wont have playing time for at least a year or 2. and he is a catcher.

Appreciate it!

I don't do anything like what goes on in those other threads, so it is what it is. Am I annoyed by BGS and PSA for what's going on/what's happened? Sure, of course, who wouldn't be. But this acts as a secondary income stream for me with a side of a hobby that I can roll some money into and then just keep rotating it. I have a better chance at maximizing what I have by grading

pitchers risky to put dollars towards...but if you're going to do it, Mize, being a college drafted pitcher and having a good season, will probably warrant a call up this season.

I would agree if he wasn’t playing for the Tigers who are in tank mode - the earliest Mize sees Detroit is after service time date in 2020 would be my uneducated guess.

This seems like such a waist of money.

I normally wouldn't either, but it's the only option to still have the opportunity at 10's (which come with subgrades) without paying an absolute fortune. The thought process, which could be wrong, would be hope to flip any 9.5's without subgrades for about breakeven, and then ideally make money on 10's

I would not invest in cards. It’s coming to an end soon

Not at all. I’ve never understood sending in cards which value is significantly less than a card submission. With paying shipping and insurance both ways and the case itself, you’re down $15-20 per card just to start. Say your grading a Ronny Mauricio. His card is roughly $2-3. Say it comes back 9.5. Does that make it a $10 card? I wouldn’t pay that...it’s a freaking base card. Now say it comes a 10. Would it even reach the $20 you put in? What are the odds you get 10’s? I see very little upside to it. To each there own though.
