These cards are plentifully available, and priced accordingly in the marketplace. At quick glance, the cards from this set have either a purple, or an orange shiny foil background, like this one. When caught in the right light though, they can really dazzle. I finally got around to trying to photograph some of my cards from 1997-98, and interestingly, the Metal Universe cards really cooperated and smiled nicely for the camera. I like the black and white action cutouts used on these, giving them an older flavor:

Wowee, things are getting serious with those big guns right there. Those PMGs are awesome. I'll bring things back to earth later today with a low end share.

Thanks dude. I hate 97/98 Fleer Ultra so much, but they put together such a great photo for Jordan's card. Spectacular.

Here's another share:

Lots of beauties keeping this thread rolling right along! I'm a huge sucker for the 1997-98 Flair Showcase Row 0 set, so definitely loving those cards very much, especially the Penny and Jordan pics that show the secondary player image so clearly, which I don't think is easy to do whilst also picking up some of the colorful "flair" throughout the rest of the surface.

Here is a rare photograph of one of mine from the same set - where the secondary player image came out better than on most of my other pictures:

Love all those row 0's. Here's another recent Iverson- the middle section featuring Grant Hill's beautiful visage is in acetate if anybody was wondering.
