Default So strange...

I've done well during the sale BUT the amazing thing is that I've sold many cards through Ebay this week at full price. These are cards that have sat through other sales I've run for the last few weeks and then when I put em up for 65% off (my sale percentage) they start selling at full price! Gotta love COMC. Still the best online venue for selling lower dollar cards on the internet.

Anyone willing to go a bit crazy (flexible) on cards in their port with discounting or offer making possibly well below Ebay if necessary? I can't blame you if you don't, but I may be interested in doing a bit last minute buying for those that will entertain such offers. LMK.

Thank you and great job sellers overall, the pricing has been solid considering everything COMC has put you/us through...

I'd be interested in seeing some final sale statistics from anyone who doesn't mind sharing. Here's mine...

Sold 168 Items for $567.68 ($3.38 per)

Bought 318 Items for $930.68 ($2.93 per)

Anytime I can buy more than I sell I consider that a good "Sale" event.

Sales stats are misleading because they don't include sales you made on offers accepted, or ebay sales.

Where are you clicking to get this info? eBay sales should still show up.

If you mean "Promotions" sales then yes, that would be correct. But you can still add those to your sales over any given period you're looking for data on.

946 items $1,438 and change

Only have about 1/3 of my inventory listed, and only went to 10% off so I wasn’t expecting anything more

About that, you might consider using $2.50 as a signpost price. You could use the bulk pricing program to list anything you used to have at $2.50 or less for precisely $2.50. Then, you could reprice items which are exactly $2.50 at the "real" price later on.

If you don't want to do this for 200,000 cards at a time or whatever, you might do chunks of 1,000 or so.

This way, the cards will still be available while you're pricing them. Some of them might even sell for $2.50 before you have the chance to put them at 20 cents or whatever the "correct" price might be.

I appreciate the idea, but in this case it would be counterproductive I’m afraid

I took them all down because I lost control of what was priced where and how

Now, I’m trying to price every item aggressively to sell so I’m going to the brain damage of going item by item to create a brand where buyers trust every card is well priced

I’m resigned to the fact that it’s going to suck. I actually have about 30,000 more to send, but there is no point right now

Every time I do something like that, it takes way, way longer than I originally think it will.

For example, I'm still working on repricing about 10,000 items which were last repriced in 2013.

I suggested and described what I would like to see in a sellers screen that would vastly improve the process, but COMC hasn't really been in deliver functionality mode. I'm told we will have some discussions at the National, so maybe that will help?

The bulk pricing tool has been very useful for me. One thing I did was price a bunch of stuff early in the year based on what I originally paid. I was able to price tens of thousands of items in late December / early January.

Going forward, I'm going to be dropping prices by 5% across the board on any items which I haven't updated in the last 90 days, and I might drop prices by 5% per month on items where I am paying rent.

I see a lot of sellers that must use it. My watch list has 1,300+ cards and 100s of them (each) are priced at $1.00 $2.75, $3.25, $5.99, $10.00 and $15.00 Have no ideal why these prices are used.
Reviewing them most should be lower but a few (IMO) should be higher. I did pick up a couple of them.
