Default How long before I cancel a best offer

Guy made an offer on a card on Ebay and hasn't paid yet granted only been 24 hrs but just wondering what's a reasonable time to allow payment on a best offer before relisting the card.

Technically he has however many days you have setup for an unpaid case to open and then 4 days afterwards to pay just like an auction..

Ok thanks for the info guys. Looks like I'm at the buyers mercy. I'm just used to paying as soon as I win a card or buy one. So when someone offers I'm assuming they have the money to pay for it. Especially this was a 1000 dollar card only reason I accepted is because I could use the cash.

You can set up your listings to auto start a NPB after 2 days. But here is how I’ve resolved this issue. I simply send a message that I’m willing to accept their price and I will adjust the listing so they can purchase it. Then change the price of your listing and require immediate payment. Has worked well for me.

Then a watcher gets the message you lowered the price and snags it and the original buyer is pissed because you did not honor your "agreement."

A chance I’m happy to take to not have to deal with non or slow payers.

This is very thing happened to me a few years back. I was so disappointed, but it really wasnt the sellers fault. I kid you not, it was literally a matter of seconds (not even a minute), and someone snagged the card before me. It would be months before I'd see another one.

Update on this. Yesterday morning the guy messaged and asked If i could cancel the order so he could rebuy and use his ebucks. I knew this was bs so I asked him to request the cancel himself. He insisted he couldn't and I had to do it. So I canceled I'm not gonna argue with a guy when I'm about to make a 1000 dollar transaction. I let him know it was canceled and to resend his offer and that was the last I heard from him. At this point I'm not accepting any offer he sends. Complete waste of time. His Ebay is bitcoin18.

A buyer loses the ability to cancel themselves after a few hours. After that the seller is the only one who can actually cancel

Just block him or he could hit BIN and cause you more issues.
