2018/19 fotl Nt breaks

Actually some members here have broken theirs but they aren’t showing them unless they hit big

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised. Layton's breaks start tomorrow. It's like a holiday for me lol. Twice released their new music video on Monday, Mortal Kombat 11 came out on Tuesday and NT comes out on Friday. This is an exciting week for me haha.

I've said this before, but I think people are strongly underestimating the participation in the FOTL game by people who have absolutely no interest in cards. That being said, a bunch still have not been delivered, and people aren't home from work yet. There should be a few more popping up soon.

Are the lack of breaks more because the customers buying them first are either for breaks or to be flipped?

Mostly. Pocketing $1500+ without breaking a sweat is strong incentive for most people to not break. It's a great gamble for the gamblers though. Low-side- lose $250-$400, high side- make $15k+

Yeah, there's no way I wouldn't be breaking if I had been lucky enough to acquire a box. Easy $1500 is nice, but I'm in this hobby for the excitement of big hits and the collecting of beautiful cards.

I really wish the resell wasn't so prohibitively expensive. $750 is already a lot for a box of cards but $2200 is just stupid. And FOTL seems a lot stronger a product than the regular NT considering it has exclusive /3 and /20 RPA's, one of which is guaranteed per box unless I'm mistaken.

I agree, it's a bunch of people that dont know anything about cards that somehow heard how easy it is to make quick k easy money. I believe probably 50% got there boxes yesterday

If I were able to get a box I would be ripping.. mainly since my bday is upcoming. I've participated in nt breaks past few years and will try a few this year, even tho the price out the gate is the most it has been

If you're ripping at all, $2500 a box is fair. Guaranteed rpa. Case price is currently around $5k, and you're not guaranteed 2 vertical RPAs.

$2500 a box for one RPA? I guess if Luka is going for $20k and Trae for around $15k then it's a reasonable gamble.

- rip 25 sealed fotl boxes, all with blue stickers

- take a Luka /3 and 5 Knox /20

In either case, you cannot resell the contents for another 5 years.

Whats up with the blue stickers? I've seen at least one FOTL box with a red FOTL sticker on the outside of the box panini shipped it in.
