One hour from tip off and Giannis isn't on the injury list. Hope that means he will play.

Have to give Upper Deck props sometimes been waiting on a redemption for one of the Exquisite Giannis and finally received the card Auto numbered to 75 along with a Upper Deck Big Ben Auto numbered to 5. Was not expecting the Big Ben Auto. Letter said cause of the wait and I have the Steelers listed as a favorite team.

If you have to explain why a card is 1 of 1 then it must not be a 1 of 1!
Always looking for A. Davis, M. Jordon, K. Towns, Kawhi and High End Card of HOF's.

Great work by Upper Deck. Panini take note.

I was checking the sold listings this morning and notice that the Panini Gold Knight went for 500. 15% coupon and all, this can't be real, right? I figured this would be a $50 card tops. I'm afraid there might be some market manipulation coming (if it's not here already).

I don't know much about that card, but if you're talking about the rookie 2013-14 there are only two listed on ebay both for over $3,000 and then the only other sale was raw for $113 back in January before the surge. Are these hard to find?

If I recall correctly, these came 2 per box on Panini. I haven't seen the one from January, I can see these going for 150 or so but definitively not 500. I don't think his Hoops AP will go that high and those were 1 per box.

That makes sense. People like gold, lol. Also, I do think there is something to not being able to find them. I mean, you can buy a prizm or a hoops all day every day, but this particular card you literally can't find except for those two that are priced ridiculously, so maybe it is worth more. There's not even a red knight listed either. Strange.

Yes! Hard to find for sure. I have been tracking a Red Knight as well. Only one ever surfaced on eBay and I missed it in a bad listing.

Do you know how hard these are? Try finding another quality rookie from this set /year.

I scooped a McCollumm and also a Gobert, and have not looked since, but at the time there was not one to be found or sold.

Why do you think they are so hard when this was a lower end Panini set? They got thrown away or something?

2 per box in a 200-card checklist gives you pretty long odds on these, so these are pretty rare, especially given how few there are listed now and how few have sold (looks like just the two) the last 90 days.

I wouldn't underestimate the market for Giannis' rare, hard-to-find rookies & parallels, especially from the low-end releases like basic Panini which weren't widely busted at the time, let alone 6 years later now. Sometimes the parallels from the lower-end products like these are harder to find than most other cards

I know these are hard to find, I was pretty lucky to buy mine 3 or 4 years ago at a good price. They don't pop up that often.

But even with that, you'll only need 100 boxes of Panini to get a set (on average). With Hoops, you need 300 boxes. These were massively produced so I won't be shocked if there are more than 500 Gold Knights. Maybe this is one of those cases where the product hasn't been busted enough and there are not many copies out there.

The Red Knights are a different story. I don't think I've ever seen one.

I think this is the correct answer here. It's probably safe to say that 2013-14 Panini wasn't heavily busted upon release, let alone hardly at all since then. Remember, for the first few years of his career, Giannis was the teenage project from Greece whose name nobody could pronounce on one of the worst teams of the century, so likely even fewer people who busted this product actually took the time to keep and adequately store any base/parallel cards that were pulled of him

All I know is Giannis needs to put up some big numbers here quickly and his team needs to win to keep this hobby momentum going. He hasn't wanted to seize the MVP the past few games.

I saw him and the Bucks in San Antonio the other night. His numbers where good but to me he didnt seem to have much impact on the game overall. Before i get accused of being a hater. I drove from Austin just to see him. Big fan but I agree he and the Bucks need to lift. Get some momentum going again.

This is pretty much it. I busted a case a year ago black friday I think. It was 19.95 a box (Less than $240 a case) I was fortunate enough to pull the Giannis Auto and like 15 RC's. Think I got a Wade and Dirk Gold as my best. It took some time to sort all of it!!

I didn't get back into the hobby until late 14 and i wasn't collecting BB at that time just football.

I was trying to look through some 2013-14 products on eBay. Im not really sure what product is good after NT, Prizm, Immaculate.

How would you rank the products that year for someone looking to acquire wax on a scale from 1-5?

Anyone ever bought one of those "Freak Mixes" from Wowzers on eBay? Supposedly it's 12 hobby boxes but probably all junk?

That's a very good question. I busted tons of 13-14 as I was collecting Giannis and it was super cheap (that draft class was seen as terrible and everyone was saving money for Wiggins).

I don't know about rankings, but I can tell you a bit about products:

- Select was amazing. No tiers, parallels look beautiful and the autos are nice.
- Innovation had the first Kaboom and the last Stat Line jerseys. Also had very nice inserts.
- I still think the Film cards from Signatures (as well as the autos) are very underrated. Really nice cards.
- Timeless Treasures had one on-card auto set that looked great - one of the best Panini has released so far. Don't remember the name. Besides that, it was pretty meh.
- Pinnacle was the best low-end product IMO. The Clear Vision inserts have hold value and it was one of those sets that was fun to collect. Elite was a close second with the various parallels.
- I'm pretty meh about Panini, Spectra and Hoops. Don't remember much about Court Kings and the unlicensed stuff.

That was the 2nd game of a back to back. First game in Milwaukee...Second game in San Antonio... add in the time change... I heard the Bucks didnt get into San Antonio til 5AM Sunday.

They got off to a great start...couldn't keep it up in the 2nd half. Luckily the Raptors lost to the Cavs last night. Bucks looking solid in New Orleans tonight... 3 game lead if they hold this lead.... really a 4 game lead cuz the Bucks won the season series with the Raptors.

If low end odd balls are starting to get noticed, I hit this in a GB during Giannis's rookie year. I picked up a silver /25 of this card also.

Does anyone know or could guess how many gold stained glass cards were made of each card? The light blues were less than 20. Are there more golds than light blue? Does anyone know if the light blue were pack inserted?

I personally would say gold standard. His raw auto is selling for about $1000 and its his full name auto not initials.

Gold Standard for sure. Even though it's not licensed, Exquisite does have a good brand name.
