ebay user wlswarts deceptively selling used Star Wars redemptions

So today I got a redemption card that was used because the seller didn't put it in the title or show a picture of it scratched. I immediately requested to cancel it which was a mistake because he later used this to get my negative feedback removed.

I called to try to appeal but I know that goes nowhere.

So about the only recourse I have is to stop buying and selling things on ebay and to complain here.

I bid on my phone alot and all I see are the titles and images. Now I know not to bid on redemptions on ebay or not bid on ebay at all.

Learn from my mistakes, I couldn't even leave negative feedback. I put in the feedback that the card was listed as NEAR MINT but had scratches on it (which is true) but the ebay rep said that doesn't matter because down in the listing it said used.

So you're saying that you can bury the fact that it's a USED redemption down in the details and that's not important enough to put in the title or show in a picture?

It should've been in title. You should've read description or the condition field. It is listed as used in both.

Its in the description, as a buyer you are responsible for reading the entire auction as well as many other places.

I would block you, but you were already there. Will have to dig around and find out why.

LOL.. Nobody said what he did was great, but I count it stated 4 times in the listing, sorry you are to blame for some of this as well. Also blocking a seller does not do anything. Besides thought you were done.

I still have a ton of cards that I may sell one day. I really do not want them ending up in your hands or 3124508 on COMC's hands.

As far as the feedback, the rules are clear if the buyer asks to cancel and then leaves a neg the feedback will be removed.

I came here to warn people of this seller engaging in terrible practices and instead I got two %&#^s telling me I'm the problem.

My feelings aren't hurt so much as I'm having to deal with the worst of the worst (that's you) for simply trying to warn people.

Nah the worst are those who make offers and never pay when the seller accepts them like you did in May of 2018 to me.

Yes the seller should have stated it in the title, but he did say it 4 other times in the listing and also stated in the condition it was used so that is 5 times. Sorry if the truth hurts your feelings.

I like this neg.. Seller sent wrong card, I asked why. Seller became irate & rude. Stay away!

So instead of just letting him know in case it was a mistake you immediately assumed it was intentional and demanded to know why he did it? No wonder the seller became irate.

Seller did nothing wrong in this situation, it is said multiple times. Some fans like to have the card and the redemption card as well.

I think Ebay did the OP a favor by removing it. It would not have even phased the seller.

He said it was due to his phone not showing the description. This also explains why he gets a lot of cancellations. Sounds like he is one of those win first then ask questions type buyers.
