Or did I wait too long?

Waited too long. Best time to dump in 3-4 weeks before the release

I think this week is still good. The fear is the film reviews after the 8th, if truly poor, will kill sales, so best time is now, although perhaps not optimal, but could potentially get worse.

I have quite a few Captain Marvel books stuck in grading which probably won't be done until after the film is out.

I always have a tough time deciding when to sell. I have so many captain marvel books (modern) - I need to time this right too. I am specifically hoping to see the 2014 #1 start to rise again. Last I checked it's around $15-20 but at one time was in the $35 range. The early reviews of the movie were fantastic and it's tracking to $150 mil opening weekend. The negative user reviews are from right-wing detractors of Brie Larson - rated before the movie was even available to be seen. I wish rotten tomatoes would police that better.

I'm going to hold until I see the books raise a bit more. There may be a nice window between Capt marvel and Avengers IV to sell - hopefully!

Seen a Ms Marvel #1 CGC 5.0 for £65 (about $85). I'd like a copy, and would look to get it graded if I bought raw but does this seem high price for such a low grade?

It does, but also dont forget to factor shipping in. A cheaper book with higher shipping costs from US will cost you the same. In the US we have the luxury of having both more purchasing options and cheaper shipping compared to our overseas friends.

Yeah, thats a fair point. It's a bit disheartening seeing some of the deals you guys get compared with over here!
