I think he's messing with you, it looks like the message you get when someone leaves you feedback, but he changed some of it around.

It is simply notification that I replied to your negative feedback. As I felt it was unwarranted.

As worked slowed, I had an opportunity to finally remove the card and it was glaringly evident that there was a significant surface defect on the face of the card that was neither disclosed not readily apparent in the photos provided by seller.

Further, when the card was removed from the penny sleeve, it became apparent that seller knew of the defect and attempted to remedy it. There was a large fingerprint swipe, hence the reference to oils, across the defect. This was deal ending.

Do I wish I had not left the quick feedback? Of course. I am new to the forum and was attempting to be a curteous buyer. In my haste, I did not properly evaluate the card until my schedule allowed.
if above is accurate, when (in your time lime) did that happen?

25% seller's fault, 75% buyers fault.

Seller:
-properly disclose ANY issue with the buyer
-Do your due dilligence to protect yourself, if the buyer keeps asking pesky questions about condition/grading/gem potential, avoid. Hand writing on the wall
-Always sell in a slab to reduce this potential, that's why I grade my non gems in my bulk orders. No point in dealing with a headache later on from some moron looking to outwit me

Buyer:
-That card is not "damaged." It's grading a 9 at BGS all day. The return screams "this card won't gem so I'm returning."
-Drop $600+ on an item without clear scans?
-Ask condition questions AFTER paying? Those questions should come before hitting the pay button.

Definitely would avoid in the future.

When they comment on the feedback, it sends the same message.

I'll say it so hopefully those in the back can hear, "IF YOU WANT A GRADED CARD, BUY A GRADED CARD!"

Honestly, I don't see any issues with that cad. Maybe I don't collect in the same ways others do, but honestly, in those photos, I just don't see anything that would upset me.

How do you know it's so small if you can't see it?

ok.... That still makes it more opinion based than fact. We have all seen damage where one party says its small barely noticeable and others who see the same thing will say its a really troubling. You admt its there so it does fall into the eye of the beholder.

That said since you did not advertise it as gem mint and it seems you made it clear from the get go that little bit of damage should be expected. THen of course you have not posted any pics of the damage so really who knows.

There was never a claim of any damage to the back, beyond the corner which showed white on the back side of the card.

The defect was to the front lower right quadrant.

I am glad the item was returned safely, and we were able to bring this matter to a resolution.

I'm glad you were able to get the card sold again.

Houdini reviewed the situation and believed that the negative feedback on my account should stay and was warranted. I have to respect that.

Best wishes and good luck with your future sales.
