Anyone know of any surefire ways to avoid being screwed over when selling sealed wax on ebay?

Would recording the packing & shipping do anything? I've never sold wax on ebay but may start.

how hard is it going to be to profit vs $120 or $175 opening and listing?

Hate that there are 3 versions...but I guess it increases our odds of pulling A RC!

Just checked mine and same story. Scheduled for Friday, arrived in town late Friday night (from Dallas which is 3 hours away), put on a truck Saturday morning but showing "next business day" and now scheduled for Tuesday. How is that acceptable business practice?

Take less and sell to BO.

There is no way to 100% prevent someone from doing something on eBay.

Estimates on /13 RC pricing...

Luka $2K?
Trae $1K?
Ayton: $500-$1K?

Best practice for selling wax IMO is to price it higher with a Best Offer and vet your buyers. I usually price it where no one would want to hit Buy It Now. I've never had an issue and usually sell within a day or two.

See that's what I was hoping to do but someone hit the BIN @ 225.

Buyer has 17 feedback all positive...

That's a tough one...Hopefully he hits something decent and doesn't complain!

If you sold a box for $225 on eBay you are likely going to clear $195 after fees.

Shipping to BO nets you a straight $175.

If you assume risking $175 cash is worth $20, you need to rethink selling these FOTL boxes. Not you in particular Zacy, just everybody selling wax on eBay.

That's also assuming it sells for $225, anything less and the difference shrinks.

Just recieved 5 of my boxes, not sure to open or sell. I did really well on Football. The Football cards were really nice and colored parallels sold really well. Not sure on Basketball besides the rookies and Lebron

100% agree. I'm selling higher end FOTL such as NT Football to Blowout. Not risking it with high value boxes.

I opened 12 boxes, I always save a box if I can and put away. I figure you will hit on a few over the years.

Luka or bust for profit if busting, sell them sealed and take the guaranteed profit.

Just opened 3 more of these. I'll post pics later tonight, and I should have 3 more boxes ripped by then. Another 15 on the way later this week. My Luka un-luck has continued (overall 3 base RCs in 12 boxes) but I still feel like I'm killing it. Highlights from the latest 3:

/13s- Wiggins, Zhaire Smith, Bagley courtside (now 6/12 on RCs)
Giannis in-flight auto green /35
KAT Tie Dye patch auto /25
Devontae Graham zebra (2nd zebra in 12 boxes)
Lebron /299, MPJ /149, Knox die cut /249
