First Buzz: 2019 Topps Heritage baseball cards

I almost grabbed some but didn't as it said on the product page of when it would actually ship (was like April 5th when I looked)- maybe this is the issue? (They may just not have it yet)

I gambled on it hoping for the best. Still think they will ship far sooner than the dates they posted. Even if I have to wait, the price is great.

i dont think the number of Actions have increased, just the odds of hitting one in a pack

I'm glad I sat this one out based on what I'm seeing so far. May pick up a box or two if i can find a good price just to check it, like the design, but man some case returns are brutal.

I bought into a few breaks yesterday and was pretty pleased with my successes. They were mostly Cubs and Angels slots. I got skunked in on Angels slot, but the other turned up 2 black borders, 2 Mike Trout actions, and 1 Ohtani nickname. I'd say that turned out all right!

So I'm feeling pretty good about my pulls, but geez, some of the hits I'm seeing on here are reeeeally making me jealous! I'm still awaiting delivery on 4 hobby boxes, but seeing multiple online breaks now and the buzz from this thread, I am very much considering picking up a case for next year.

From another thread... folks observing no one has a documented SuperFractor pull from hobby.

Yet we’ve seen at least 150 cases of hobby documented here. 0.5% of cases (26 of 5291) should have a SuperFractor.

Anyone seen or heard of a verified hobby box pull? (There is a report of a Rizzo on eBay, but not sure if that wasn’t pulled in retail)

Hopefully they aren’t hiding in the A&G woods!!!

Been quietly poking around here over the last 24 hours. Congrats to everyone on the nice cards!

Finished my case last night. it wasn't great, it wasn't horrible. Fun break overall, but I felt like I kept waiting for something that never showed up. Welcome to 2019 Heritage I guess.

No massive hits. Beat the odds by a hair on actions and chrome refractors.

4 autos (Sheffield, Contreras, Burns, Mikolas)
8 action (Acuna, Ohtani, Betts)
4 chrome refractors (Benintendi)
3 chrome (Albies)
purple chrome (Acuna, Betts, Trout, Harper)
2 team name (Bregman, Bryant)
1 French (Cole)
1 mini (Kershaw)
6 super toppers (Soto, Acuna, Yaz 2, Gibson 2)

Lots of nice SP cards and I really like the psychedelic New Age Performer cards this year! Overall a fun break.

Seems like they're scarcer than in previous years....didn't they used to be one per case?

On the other hand, an Ohtani poster justed ended at $46....lower than the top players were selling for in 2017, and the most popular teams in 2018.

My Target barely has any sports cards anymore. Used to have a massive section up front with numerous gravity feeds, lots of blasters/hangers. It recently got relegated to the back of the store next to the Funkos to die a slow death it seems. Hardly anything there. They replaced the old section with a wall (I kid you not it's an entire wall) of gift cards.

Yeah, when they listed Heritage with that ship date, that was a red flag that it may never come...and if it did, you'd be 3 more releases into the season. Who knows, they may all ship today

They did the same at the Okemos MI. Target store I stopped at Tuesday looking for Heritage.

I don’t understand the complaints. Ordering feb 18, the site said it won’t ship until March 29. Later orders were at a later shipping date. Why are people expecting them to ship on release?
