Default Could this crossover as a PSA 10

Hey guys,

I just worked out a deal for this card and I am thinking of trying a PSA Crossover to see if it would get a 10. I would submit with a 10 grade min. Do you guys think it would have any chance or should I just not even bother taking a risk

So much more money being tossed into this market now by inexperienced retail guys. It's going to be ugly for some people when liquidity dries up and market turns the other way.

I would be just happy with it as is. Odds are you wouldn't get a PSA 10 in that slab so you would have to crack and submit.

if the corner 'flaw' is visible [especially without using a loupe], I'd guess it would be very unlikely for psa to give it a 10.
is it worth the $75? you won't know until you do it and see the outcome. I'd lean towards 'no', but that's just an opinion.
Good luck, amazing card either way!

No chance. PSA is harder on corners, and the red borders make corner flaws more obvious.

I've seen some pretty sad corners in PSA 10 holders. however im sure these red border cards a tougher. but still always worth a chance.

How could any BGS 9.5 not make it to a PSA 10?

because they aren't always equal. especially when you have 4 sub grades that can average/weigh out to a 9.5 when one of them is a 9.

Only if you send it to BNC first.

Now you are giving me hope LOL...so if I do a 10 minimum they WONT crack it out unless they believe it would get a 10 correct?

Psa is a lot harder on corners, so if it’s not a 9.5 or 10 corner subgrade, I wouldn’t consider it.

Correct. They will only slab if it meets your minimum grade of 10.

OK so the only risk then really would be losing the $75 fee? I mean I feel like its worth a shot if that is the case, since PSA 10 would probably be much more valuable in the case of this particular card

It always makes me chuckle when somebody sends a distant, crooked phone pic of a card with a massive glare on it and asks for advice on what grade it might get.

It's in-transit to me...I will get better pictures once I have it in person

Four Cards that are more scrutinized when trying to cross:

Jordan RC
Jeter SP
Brady Contenders
Trout US175

i know the above Jeter crossed with the weak corner sub, but lets be fair, its a great card, but not a hobby standard
