I had always heard that you didn’t have to be a brain surgeon to grade cards but now that I see the Industry listed as “Hospital and Health Care” in the job search I see it differently lol.

When it comes to customer service, they don't need excellence. They just need to beat out 'the other guy'. It's like the big management at my office are always telling us that they strive to offer 'competitive' salaries. All that means is that they'll give just enough to stave off a mass exodus to competing companies. |

There's some programmer out there that could make a fortune if they developed an AI that could grade cards

https://patents.google.com/patent/US20160210734A1/en SGC also had some information leak about a year ago that they were developing the technology (it was that leak that lead to the patent find above).

What card(s) is every one using in the Pop reports to see if our submission may be done?
Mine is the 2008 Goudey Mini Green Kershaw #75. There are only 5 in the POP report and hoping to see that to 6 every time I click refresh.

I’m using my 2002 Tom Brady Bowman Silver Parallel /99. There has never been an example graded by PSA and it wasn’t in the database prior to this submission. It is now searchable in the database but still shows zero graded. I’ve checked every evening hoping to see it pop up. It’s the card I’m least excited about (not going to grade well) but easiest to check.

On hold with PSA right now. Will update afterwards.
Edit: Got a little bit more insight this time. I spoke with Jackie and she guaranteed me they would be finished by next week and that they had been working on them as recent as yesterday. If for some reason they aren't, I will be calling and speaking to Jackie again referencing our conversation at 4:28 PM EST on Friday Feb 22nd. Looks like the finish is in sight!

I haven't brought that up with them yet. I know with this one just hitting 91 business days, it will still be a few more weeks on that one sadly.

PSA are some straight up slackers. I wonder how much of their (assuming) 40 hours a week is actually spent grading stuff.

Let me say this. If they run the grading center with the same efficiency that they ran the booth at the show I attended on Saturday then I can easily see why they are this far behind. Words just can not explain what I witnessed first hand!

I picture a bunch of mid 20s kids mixed with middle aged balding elitists playing some questionably geigh grab a$$(which is 100% ok but should probably be played after work and only after a 12 pack) while showing everyone in the office a cheeto finger print on an 89 UD Griffey that a Geo Tracker driving fat man subbed with some fleer Juan Uribes and a Billy Ripken FF error.
