I just looked at my 2012-13 prizm collection and I have a Steph Curry Silver....is that worth anything?

I also regret not pulling the trigger on the complete set of 2012-13 Silver Prizm that sold on eBay for around $700 i think back 6 years ago.

I have many more , I'll share them all in a Big Mailday post very soon once I make all the pictures .

Regarding this whole Prizm craze , I honestly think its just insane , I've been collecting these for many years and seen prices go up , down . But when an average bench player/rookie Bust is selling for $100-$200+ you know its crazy , for many years I would buy average bench players for $10-$25 .

IMO right now would prob be the best time to cash in on this Prizm craze , I don't see this lasting too long . Lebron Silver for $300,$400,$500?

I don't have much to contribute but I do have this that I figured I would drop in here. I did not know that there was a greater sense of appreciation for the 12-13 Silvers.

I snagged this last week for what I thought was a decent price. First prizm auto for Curry since he didn't have any in '12. Could become an iconic set/year depending on Giannis too.

Every time I wander over to the basketbatll forum and see a 2012 prizm thread it makes me sad. When I was going into high school, I just really started to get into cards hardcore. 2012 Prizm was the first set of basketball that I splurged on at Target, and I ripped a ton of retail packs. My mom would pick me up from school and she'd have a couple packs for me. I knew it was new and really cool, I even graded a couple for my first ever beckett submission (Rubio green and Jeremy Lamb green). Through high school, I got in and out of collecting, and along the way all my 2012 Prizm was gone most likely via donation. I know I never had any silvers since I only opened retail, but it just makes me sad every time I know I don't even have whatever I had. It could've been nothing honestly. But either way it still makes me wish I had whatever 2012 Prizm I opened.

It's been so crazy to see how much LeBron Silvers have gone up. These were cards that could have been had for a few bucks a few years ago. Are Optic Holos next?

It’s effected 18-19 silvers as well, those were $4 cards just a week ago, now they’re creeping up to $12-15.

Some of you must not have been collecting in the 90s. $20 for a nice looking shiny card that is popular is nothing. When autos, jerseys, and serial numbered cards flooded every release, basic refractors and similar parallels tanked in value.

For collectors who don’t have hundreds to thousands to spend every month, getting a silver Prizm of the best player in the planet for $20 might be a great pickup for them.
