PSA: Check your commons! Last year I went through 2 monster boxes of 12-13 common/insert/Prizm silver/green that had been sitting around for several years and turned up 76 silvers and 14 greens - left forgetten as I tore through so many boxes literally just chasing gold and Kyrie in 2013. Here’s a great breakdown of the approximate 12-13 hit rate and print run:

https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=446293

While to me the surge in first year Prizm Gold is understandable, there’s more likely some shenanigans going on with silver - especially when compared to the generally cheaper (and reputedly shorter print) green sales. Nevertheless, I have now appropriately mag’d and TL’d some of the uncovered silver gems!

I think greens are undervalued too, but the eye appeal just isn’t there the way it is with silvers.

As an outsider looking in I do know that silver prizms were much rarer back then. Today you get one every 3 packs of retail. Not sure why there is still hype over this parallel as it is much more common now.

I'm sorry...2 for every 3 packs of retail.

How hard were they to hit in 13-14?

Here is the probable 70 feedback bidder's copy:

And here is the probable 4833 feedback bidder's copy:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-14-PRI...frcectupt=true

And now we have a 0 feedback bidder at the top? Hmmm...
Mr. 70 feedback put a bid of $701 in, then raised the BIN/BO on his copy to $1500.

And the 4840 feedback guy just bid $791. Still have that zero feedback guy leading at $801. These people are clowns.

I can confirm that the $857 14-15 Silver that I posted earlier was purchased by the 4840 feedback guy (it’s been paid for). So I suppose he could be pumping the price, but I genuinely think he believes in these continuing to grow at a rapid increase.

Then why put his copy up for sale? His BIN/BO was originally $949 if I recall correctly. He’s now twice bid up the Probstein auction then immediately jacked up the price on his copy.

I don't know what is going on on the 2013 and later Prizms, but I am actively looking for Lebron, Steph, Kobe, and KD 2012 regular silver Prizms. If any of you have them and are interested in moving them, hit me up with a picture and price.

These are the only refractors I have from 12-13. Hope all the stars keep going up. Why not?

Already remortgaged the crib and purchased 100k worth of semi star 2012 - 2014 prizms before this thread reaches 30 pages.

Can't wait to flip my Dion Waiters prizms for 5k in 15 years. The new PMG Greens!

Thanks for the new beach house in Miami, dudes.

I see a couple of these listed BIN/BO, but I truly wonder what one would go for at auction.

That’s a badass card. Not really my PC flavor, but I’d pick one of those up waaaaaay before I picked up any of his Prizm stuff.
