Ball says he's received, and turned down, three multi-million dollar offers to buy the card.

Dude's a liar. He knows what he has is a fake and is just trying to sell his story to the masses. Funny.

Guy seems like a kook. Oh well he got his 15 minutes of fame, he'll probably be weighing blasters at the Visalia Wal-Mart soon.

Jason Mars was “authenticated” also. First some eBay rep then some sketchy pawn shop owner. Both where lies...

I just can't believe reputable media was duped that this was actually a story. This is literally fake news.

Default another Jason Mars?

Edited. Watching the clip he looks like he did just enough research to see dollar signs. Always dangerous.

I miss Jason Mars. I still have his t206 propeller head card. He was so much fun to troll. I firmly believe he actually believed his own stupidity.

Took the guys on net54 about 3 minutes to see it was a fake. A member there owns or owned the only authenticated ruth from that set. There is a tear on it on the right hand side. This card, they printed the tear into the card.

Very rare. In fact, even more rare than authentic 206 Wagners.

I'll work on it tonight.

I need to think of some other print variations as well.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/californi...5m-report-says

Cliff notes: the card is authenticated because fibers in the paper and ink are consistent with cards of that time period according to Fresno State professor John Pryor. An auction house has stated bidding would start at 1.5 million and could bring in as much as 4.5 million, but Ball doesn’t want to sell because the card deserves to be on a wall in Yankee stadium next to Ruth’s statue.
