Riiiiiiiiiight. It’s business as usual for most of the top guys, nothing will change in a few months unless you get this guy dead to rights, which is still possible seeing the crazy detective work I’m seeing here, you guys remind me of the major crimes unit in the Wire.

We are now so focused on the BNC ring and rightfully so considering all things, but for those of you trying to “make the hobby a better place” let me ask this, do we really think he’s the only one? While we sit here and try to squeeze every bit of evidence against BNC there are probably few dozen more people that has nothing to do with BNC probably trimming cards and laughing their way to the bank while all the heat is off of them for the moment.

It’s a sad state really, but let’s be honest I’m in the thinking that most people that dabble in super high end is guilty of one thing or another, I wonder how many people in this thread sitting on their high horses are guilty of one thing or another, that includes the white knights, the prosecutor or even the mods/admins of this very site we are using.

I’m on nobodies side, no matter who gets found guilty or not here, I don’t benefit and I still have to wake up to a ratchet babies mama and a crazy two year old, and go to the shitty job I’ve worked for four years, I’m just playing the devils advocate and throwing some things to chew on out there. Note that the original seller's description is preserved and it states that the card could grade a 6-8 due to dents in the back of the card. Those who bought from him on ebay need to check their cards very carefully. If they have been trimmed, that's a starting point.

Still does not prove he is the trimmer but another damning piece of evidence.

He's already been called out once on the AI card that was clearly wiped and re-signed, but at this point hard to prove if he did it.

I know it would suck so bad finding out a card you paid for was altered. For me personally paying anything for a card and finding out it was altered would annoy the heck out me. Even if it was $10

Some in the past on this thread have questioned why a lot of high rollers on here have been quiet. I believe that some of these peeps have been duped or may even be afraid to check they have been duped in fear that they could find out that a card they put down 5k for is altered.

There has to be more to this story. Where there is smoke there is fire!

We must keep persuing this. I believe with our combined efforts and technology we can find more evidence.

The BODA is a strong network of savvy individuals. They have uncovered some amazing wrongdoings in the past (salvation army guy immediately comes to mind)

I agree with you. BNC is a very high end seller who has examined/bought/sold hundreds of expensive cards over his lifetime, averaging 40K in sales per month.


I find it very unlikely he bought that AI, missed the forged signature and put it up for sale without knowing how badly it was wiped and re-signed. But again, without tangible burden of proof, this is very difficult.

I’m disputing none of that. At this point, he has very little plausible deniability remaining. You originally challenged my assertion that it’s easy enough for someone to come into contact with Eric with regards to acquiring one of those cards (even if they’re not doing shady things themselves). This thread hasn’t been SEOed. We are very much in the infancy of spreading the word.

Are you referring to search engine optimization? If so, you are incorrect.

A mere search of 'eric bitz lebron exquisite' brings up this thread at #1. Similar searches do the same.

Good content is good SEO. Valued sites for hobby information like Blowout is good SEO. Insertion of key search phrases is good SEO.
