Did you try the Big League blasters? I think there was a 20% discount on those boxes. But, I was not able to find any other discounts for baseball trading cards.

Topps card revenue is far in excess of $12 million a year. In the year ended March 3, 2007, the final fiscal year before they went private, they had $178 million in card revenue. There is no way it has declined to $12 million now.

Perhaps $12 million profit, but revenue is greater than that.

Yep. But if they went private at $385 million ten years ago and now are making $40 million EBITDA the buyers have not done that well.

Yeah there's now way they mean $12 million revenue.People confuse revenue and profit a lot though.

So I sold my 6 cards on ebay. Luckily I got 6 cards! I bought 5 boxes, opened 3 and got 6 cards in each. I will post pictures of the 2nd and 3rd boxes.I might send back the one box they sent me by mistake, but charged me for anyway. Any interest?

Chipper Jones/25- $110
Jeff Bagwell/25-$135
Gleyber Torres Redemption/25-$172
Rafael Devers/5-$158
Jose Altuve/15-$126
Mike Piazza/10-$207
Empty Box-$21
So all total about $930. Minus $93 for eBay, and about $40 +/- for paypal. I lost a couple hundred

That seems pretty good to me. No huge hits, but you made back 80% of your money. That has to be better than most boxes, doesn't it?

I'd call this a win! Only lost $200 out of a $1,000 pack.

I think a box just sold for $1200 on eBay ... I say that because I offered $700 and got the notification that it just sold at that ... that’s nuts

Stuff is gaining some interest. That second box was a winner with two big names.

Yup, that was me. I got 5 boxes, sold one for $1200, opened the other 4.And why would I sell it for $700, when I just bought it a couple of days ago for $1000?

Hi, I’m new to the forum. What do you think of my box?

Acuna 1/10
Ripken 1/10
Gibson 1/25
Bench 1/25
Pettitte 1/15

I thought it was decent, got a great rookie in Acuna, a Ripken, and three other good hall of famers or possible one in Pettitte. I did only get 5 cards.......

Yeah I agree, a Chris Sale non 1/1 sold for $202.50? Anthony Rizzo /25 for 119.99??

Several nice sales out there. I didn't buy into this (nor would I ever), but imo those that did have to feel better than they did last week with all the negative talk.

Good time for sales with the 15% off eBay coupon this weekend. I've noticed a lot of cards going a bit higher than normal.

No way these prices hold in the future. Other than the rookies, there are too many other low numbered autos of these players, that look 1000x better. Hot potato.....

They won’t. It’s hopeful optimism by those who bought into this.
