Ok back to #87.

OP says it sold on these forums in March of 2013. Looking at 2infnitybeyond's posts, I found one from March of 2013 where he was interested in trading for a Lebron /99 RPA EXQ.

So we know he was looking for one at the same time so it's very possible he was the buyer of #87 in March of 2013 considering he sells the card to Eric in 2014. Who was the seller?

OP, were you the seller of this card? Was it a friend of yours who sold it? What's it gonna take to get you back in here.

Op hasn’t logged on since his last post in this thread. Welfare check. Did they get to him for releasing this info? I would just like to know who coached him to post this. My guess it was rookies.

Whoever the seller of #87 is, it appears the sale of that card in March of 2013 was to Sohrob. Sohrob then sold it to Eric raw in 2014. So where are we at?

Seller of #87 (2013): A BO member who's either OPs friend, or OP himself.
Buyer of #87 (2013): prob sohrob
Condition of #87: "rough around the edges" (see OPs pics)

Seller of #87 (2014): Sorhob (as part of a large lot but not his whole collection)
Buyer of #87 (2014): Eric. Was it all cash? Trade and cash? How many cards involved? We don't know.
Condition of #87: Unknown. Eric says it didn't appear trimmed to him. He also said he promptly graded the card but he was later splummed when it was shown he graded it a year later.

#87 graded by Eric in 2015 comes back a BGS 9. Photos indicate cards have been trimmed. (See OPs picks)

Trimming suspects: Sorhob, Sorhobs guy, Eric, Eric's guy

If you're referring to the /99 LBJ RPA, then consider that the highest confirmed sale for a BGS 9.5 /23 was 95k, if I remember correctly. Doesn't make sense that a /99 is more valuable.

These have gone up drastically and will continue to go up!! I hate Lebron and hate everything that took place in regards to the trimming, etc. but have a great appreciation for this card!! Trust me, there have been sales above the $150K for the /99..Cant get into details out of respect for the buyer, but it's true, whether you choose to accept/believe it or not!! I WISH I can afford this card, I truly wish!! I have zero reason to make this up, I can't and will never be able to afford this card..I honestly believe even if you buy this at $200K, you will get a good return in investment years down the road...

Btw, maybe not in the level of the Lebron, but I have done many high end private transactions that never saw the lick of day, and I'm just a drop in the bucket compared to all the private sales that go on out there...

I haven’t posted yet in this thread but have been following daily since it’s creation, just want to say thank you to all of you who have dedicated the time and effort into seeing this through. No matter where the thread goes from here, there have been excellent strides made and I hope this online footprint leaves its mark to alert of the cards altered, and hopefully deters those from doing it in the future.

So you're telling me there have been multiple sales of the /99 RPA above the 150k mark and they're all sales to ONE buyer?

Seriously, this card does not need any pumping, at all!! I have zero stock in this card or any Lebron!! If you have your doubts, great I can respect that...no biggie!!

There's no reason for any one in here to believe that these private sales you speak of ever took place.

Statements that the /99 is worth 150k+, (even though the highest confirmed sale for a /23 in 9.5 is 95k,) in a thread like this one are nothing but blowing smoke and are totally baseless. Unless those numbers can be confirmed then it's all meaningless. Hypothetically, if I were in the tax bracket that can afford this card and I were in the market for one, or the owner of one, I would not consider these claims with even a single grain of salt.

The sale I’m referring to is legit, buyer showed me his copy. It was a copy never mentioned in this thread but confirmed on the Bron exquisite RPA tracker thread. I didn’t get what he exactly paid for it but he said ALOT more than 75k, and I’m not gonna share his info, if he wants to show it off on a forum that’s up to him.

You read it here first. This card is now worth 750k. Doesn't matter if you believe it or not.

It won't matter to any of them, trust me..they want PROOF and want sale to be validated, lol!!

So you have to provide proof on convo, picture with dates, and money transfer with date..that's it! Oh and all has to be notarized!!
