heh, I think he's in the card business and sells cards of all values. Let me check with him. Most high end collectors have other jobs and do this as a hobby. If I didn't have a good comeback I would have resorted to something like this though.

And John, the topps chrome return from 16 months ago is a nice deflection from the topic and an even better attempt to tarnish my credibility. I see you are defending MgHee21. Bro!!! Someone is trimming cards. We aren't making this up. There is photo evidence.

We may have cards in our collections trimmed. Some may have paid thousands or even 10s of thousands for a card that is trimmed. We have the right to demand some answers as a community. Just because someone is strictly a high end collector doesn't mean they are exempt from the community when it comes to issues like this.

If Eric is Innocent great for him. Whether he wants to talk or not he is the person with the trimmed cards. He either knows he's innocent or guilty but until he speaks there is no end to this. There will always be speculation.

KhalDrago is literally selling $6 cards on ebay...think about that. You don't know why high end guys buy those cards or how they value them or how the deals go down. You guys are the most active on the boards (look at those number of posts!!!) but least active in the high end market.

Fifthdownsports posted in that thread to confirm his purchase of the Lebron for $250k and he came here to defend a guy that he has known for over a decade. You know NOTHING about him but you assume the worst.... "Oh, he's part of the high end world that is all corrupt and all they ever care about is money and they just want to protect their valuabe investments...etc." He stated some facts, told some stories, and then got mocked.

There's no way to make you look good, Gennett. I know the story. I actually have seen your private messages. That's a stellar deflection, too. The cards were super-sick high-end $30 cards, and you decided you didn't want them because they wouldn't grade 10. You then told an absolutely moving origin story about your friend getting you into the hobby by telling you he made $4k flipping Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook cards, but that proved to be false! You're still here and you love it though! It's kind of crazy that an extremely high-end bobble-head mover like yourself would fall for such a story.

Eric owns a lot of trimmed/altered cards that are not disclosed properly. There is no proof that Eric was involved in the process of altering them. There is proof that Eric is very-well versed in the high-end market and the cards that populate it. I'd go so far to call him an expert, honestly. It's almost disrespectful to suggest he didn't know they were altered.
