Add Kemba this offseason

Could have the room if they want to get rid of Fultz.

I dont see that happening esp if kemba wants 18-20 million per or a max level type deal?

Philly only has $52 million on the books for next year before Butler.

Throw $30 mil at Butler they are at $82.

The cap is going to be $109.

That leaves $27 million to play with.

Fultz is getting $10 million, so if they could find a way to move him they'd have $37 million to play with.

Still don't see ditching a #1 pick after a year.. to much pride as a GM to do that but we'll see

Philly doesn't need a PG for using the ball, Ben simmons and Butler can use the ball in the first unit. Pick up a quality reserve big man and a long ball threat for the 2nd unit and build the depth for playoff time.

Anyway, Fultz should be dealt as soon or valuable as possible for drafts or depth....

Not sure who will but on waivers later this year but Korver for Fultz works straight up financially. I'd wait to move him though.

Realistically what could they even get for Fultz? Everyone has seen him and what he is.

The team values defense too much to do something like that.

I thought this was a joke but Fultz is out until he sees a shoulder specialist next week. Coach and GM are caught off guard by the news.

Kind of odd timing with him being sent to the bench and then replace last night by McConnell and only playing 7 min.

Thanksgiving and it's all coming together.

Team is 13-7, 3rd in the East and 2.5 out of first.

Have won 4 in a row and are 4-1 with Butler.

Jimmy is fitting in well, Embiid is still dominate.

Ben has been what we expected in November: 16.3/8.4/7.6 while shooting 58%. Averaging over 20 PPG in his last 3.

It's becoming apparent that Fultz was part of the problem with Simmons on the floor. Hoping he can straighten things out soon, but getting less optimistic.

Honest question. At this point with where the team is at do they even need Fultz?

I don’t know what they would do with him, trade value is non-existent, but he just doesn’t seem like he’s really needed anymore.

At this point I'd throw him into the G League and let him sink or swim.

Long term, you still want the potential of him being a part of your super team.

Yes. Super Team. Embiid is the top big man in the league right now. Butler a boarderline top 10 guy. Simmons is playing great since Butler came along and could be an MVP guy in a few years.

Fultz still has the athleticism to be a very good player, but needs to shoot in order to stretch the floor.

At the moment however, he doesn't make the team better.

Wow...
Can't say we didn't see this coming a bit, but wow.

Does that trade look bad at the moment.

Wonder what his market is?

It'll be crazy if they really trade him for peanuts like the rumors are saying. A team like the magic would probably be a great fit for both sides (potentially).

It's best that everyone moves on. They should trade him for JR smith or Kyle Korver, another veteran shooter

Would love to see him in Cleveland for nothing... but something tells me that Philly is going to try to find a way to get some long term value out of him, whether it be a pick or impact player now.

Fultz could also be packaged along with other assets. Their main chips that they'd be willing to trade:

Miami 2022 Unprotected Pick
Zhaire Smith
Landry Shamet
Furkan Kormaz
Wilson Chandler (cap purposes)

I wonder if they can make a package that could land an impactful 2 guard or stretch 4 worth keeping as a part of the long term plan.

Yikes.

I think Fultz has some value for sure though. He's shown enough that someone will give up something of value for sure.

An inability to shoot? Not for sure there's a lot of value there.

Thank god the 76ers didn’t have first pick in the Wiggins/Parker/Embiid draft.

How about top end athleticism and ball handling skills.

He's damaged goods for sure, but he'd be a great risk for some team in the gutter who isn't going to compete for years anyways (ehh emm, Cleveland)
