Default Ink Smudge. Worth Grading?

Hi all. Pulled a nice Andujar Donruss Optic auto. Problem is, it looks like Mr. Andujar smudged some of the ink on the back of the card (pictured). My question is: would Beckett nail me on that if I bothered to send it in to get graded?

Thanks for any thoughts.

You can try wiping it with nail polish remover, otherwise, don't bother grading.

Wouldn’t that hurt the card?

And just to ask: what’s the best way to apply it? Cotton swab? Micro fiber cloth? I’ve never tried this before.

Not that card, its glossy enough, no different then wiping a personalization off a photo.

Cotton Swab should work.
Don't scrub it. It will either come off easily, or it won't come off at all.
Wanna test? Surely you have some worthless common you can draw on to practice.

ummmmm I wouldn't use nail polish remover (acetone) on the cards. that stuff can melt plastics. just try with regular rubbing alcohol first or alcohol based eyeglass cleaner.

Thanks! Just saw a Youtube video that gave this exact example. Looked to work well, and had a ton more ink than mine does!

Thanks all for the suggestions. I'll let you know how it works out!
