My Red Sox Mini Collection

I thought I'd share some of my favorites/rarest/more interesting cards from my primary collecting focus, which is Red Sox mini cards and framed autos/relics. The collection started as just a small annual effort to collect the A&G-back mini team set, but slowly morphed into trying to collect as many mini variations and AU and GU from A&G, Gypsy Queen, Topps 205/206, DK, Golden Age, Goodwin, etc..

While my main focus is completely the more acquirable team sets each year, I also hunt down as many rarer variations as I can. Anyways, I will update this thread for fun whenever I get more to show.

ALWAYS interested in any Red Sox minis (esp. rarer ones).

Last but not least, some of my favorite tobacco cards. I've built a complete T206 Red Sox (Boston Americans) team set, but these 3 were the hardest to hunt down (the Speaker since he's HOF, the other two cause they are rarer variations). I wish I had more T205, but haven't put much time into that set.

I can't tell if I love or hate the Pesky cut though. I mean it's cool but they cut his first name off. I know it would be nearly impossible to get first a last on there but dang....

Ok, I love it. Even if it's cut off a little it.

Yeah, that was kind of struggle for me. The only saving grace was that it is a mini, so, as you said, it would’ve been a challenge to fit the whole name. When you see a full-size card with a cut auto, it drives me crazy to see part cut off.

Those are awesome! I still need to pick up a Ginter wood for my collection, but the bidding competition is often fierce.

No kidding! The 2017 Papi went higher than I expected so I missed out. Nice Johnny Damon just surfaced for a $100 bin. Looks good! Good luck

Thanks a lot. Kind of niche collection, and often times hard to find new stuff, but at least the focus keeps me in check with spending.
