Is a silver comparable to like a Topps chrome refractor?
I wouldn't put them in the same echelon as TC Refractors, because of the production numbers. But essentially yes, they've taken the place as the flagship "refractor" to have.

I do both but I agree with the higher value are the best. Also I know how popular silvers are but if I had 20 silvers I’d sell them all except my bgs 10 and buy limited prizm or something else. I like prizm but these populations are just too insane

I would go NT RPA. Look at what Curry's just fetched. If he pans out like we think he can, 10 years from now todays prices will be steals even though they seem pricey now. Plus pretty soon, they won't be popping up on eBay as frequently. Prizms, optics, etc will always be readily available

Prizm silvers PSA 10 at $1450. Select Courtside silver PSA 10 $400. Makes absolutely no sense, being the silver courtside is so rare.

They are a little all over the place with these prices but they are slowly starting to become harder to find. I have 2-3 of them but thinking about picking up 1-2 more before they dry up. Watching him last night the hype isn't gonna stop soon.

It’s somewhat true what some of the people have said in this thread, I get it…But when a card starts off hot/high dollar from the beginning, then starts to slowly live up to that hype, sooner rather later, the cards will just continue to gain momentum and become more difficult to come crashing down unless of course an injury happens or a major drop in his game…These type of cards have much so much more potential and are more different than when a player comes out of nowhere after a few seasons, then card rises/drops, etc.

The only thing Tatum is currently missing so far in his very early career as a 19/20 year old, is a big explosive 30 point game or games!!! But, like I mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s so darn hard to score 30 on this team!! Even when Morris, Rozier and Smart come in, they come in chucking while Tatum is wide open!! That will change, eventually!!

1 point at half? Guy is averaging 18 pts 9 rebounds on 43% shooting. What am I missing?

Yup and the starters can sit the rest of the night the way the bench is playing. It's a wonderful thing when a team has so much depth and talent.

And Blake Griffin is leading the league in scoring and also has 1 point at the half. The Celtics are so deep he's going to have nights like this. He's an unselfish player. I collect him as a fan anyway so doesn't matter what happens either way to me.

Games in october usually determine a players future. So youre not missing anything. HE didnt push lebron to 7 games and go nuts in the playoffs as a 19 year old or anything.

I have a ton of Tatum cards and I want him to do well, but so far he has a 7 point dud and a 6 point dud in this young season. He's shooting 43%. Not exactly gangbusters.

That's gonna happen a lot on this team. Kyrie had 3 points to go along with Tatum and they still crushed the Pistons by 20. I wouldn't be surprised if nobody in green averages over 20 this year.

Can’t agree more. I have one of the largest Tatum collections that I know of but for me it’s a long term investment. I fully expected these kind of games this year. Celts are a truly unique team where any of their starting 5 is capable of leading the team in scoring any night with no one surprised. Even in their bench like Morris and Rozier are often looking to score first. If someone is off to a slow start they will just go to someone else. Just like previous post mentioned looked at Kyries night. You are not going to see 6-15 or 10-26 type scoring nights like you do out of day like an Embiid, Lavine, Westbrook, Lillard, or many others. These guys have to shoot no matter what. First r me it’s all about the eye test for now.

I bet Tatum and Kyrie both end up over 20 ppg this year

What’s wrong with Tatum? A bunch of mediocore games lately. Prices already go downhill...
