What’s the most $$ you’ve wasted on one retail trip?

What is the largest amount you’ve dropped at one time at Target/Wal-Mart/etc and pulled absolutely nothing worth more than a couple bucks? Asking for a friend.

Mine would be north of 400 as well, either Prizm or Topps Chrome Baseball last year

edit: no LCS within an hour and hate waiting for stuff to come in the mail. Retail is simple for me and just plain fun. Hit some really cool stuff out fo there as well

Tonight I grabbed a Contenders blaster, even though I knew to stay away from them, and also a $10 hanger box of last year’s Prestige, because that was all the basketball they had. I was that desperate to bust something. I knew I would pull a garbage auto, and I did, DJ Hogg. At least there was a parallel Donovan Mitchell RC in the hangar, but nobody cares about Prestige.

Probably only around 60 when the first Optic finally showed up. I bought one later then went back and got the last 2 I believe. Best card was probably a Purple CP3.... Ha

That first year of Optic retail was horrendous for me. Bought maybe 5 blasters and 3-4 hanger boxes total and hit nothing reall. No autos and no Simmons.

Coolest card to me from it all was probably a Court Kings Refrator Westbrook haha

This years wasn't much better. Got a scrub auto /25 and like 5 Mitchell's. And a Bam refractor RC...

Its happened a few times with different Bowman Chrome Baseball products, 2012-13 Prizm Basketball, the 2011 Topps Mega Boxes, etc

I spent probably about $1,000 on 2017-18 Prizm Basketball Cello packs as well. Still sitting in my closet unopened. I am proud of myself!

I spent about $250.00 on 2017 Prizm and got 1 Prizm silver rookie...….so, I would say most of that $250.00 was shot.
