I hope he can get/ is getting professional help and that you don't feel the need to enable him/ tailor your life to his mental health issues.

As far as the cards go, the low end $2-$5 rookies you're going to pull are not easy psa 10's and your grading costs with psa are going to be at least the $12 a card kind of rate for a group sub. BGS is like $20 or more a card. No money to make there. If you pull something substantial, sure, maybe grade it. But the more sure-fire way to get your money out of the sealed wax is to keep and sell it sealed, either now or in the future.

Good luck sir.
Yeah, sounds like I just wasn’t clear—no one has my credit card. Kind of strange hearing someone read the situation and labeling me as having big problems. No one is enabling...But I won’t hold you accountable for knowing the dynamics of my family to make such an assumption—this isn’t a psyc forum—although we all have our moments!! I do appreciate your feedback on the actual issue at hand. The fact that there are already 4 stud rookies makes it intriguing as a sealed product—if only there were no redemptions...

Congrats on the measured and reasonable response. I hope I’d be as understanding.

I guess I'm in the minority. I'd try to return them and if that wasn't a option id rip them. Theres enough good rookies in there to do well with them. You can probally make a base set or two as well to sell. Youd also have serial numbered cards, relics, autos, Sp'd. Open them all with your dad and enjoy the time together. Then let him know your done with HHN.
