I don't know. We all saw what happened with the rumble in the palace with Artest and friends.

High profile athletes almost always get a pass...or buy their way to one. I wouldn't hold my breath...

Las Vegas Police/Prosecutor can still get warrants against the other 3.

agreed there will be less punishment.

Apparently, UFC By-Laws allow Dana to strip the title and give Khabib a loss for this. I would do it in order to prevent Khabib from retiring.

On the surface, he appears rattled. But deep down he knows there's a whole lot of angles and ways to exploit this to financial recovery/gains.

The fighting community at large has a rather short attention span. 2 months and this will all blow over and it's onto the next headline. And they will buy the next pay per view.

They benefit Dana but no one made Khabib jump out or his guys jump in.

There have been questions asked if they think this was planned and no UFC person will answer a reporter asking that.

Dana White announced the Governor of Nevada was in attendance and was rushed out of the Arena during the incident for his safety.

He accused McGregor of almost killing some people.

That's actually a rather interesting thought.

You'd think his boys would have rushed to help out Khabib knowing he just jumped into the middle of Conor's whole crew, so two of them jumping in the cage to attack Conor instead seems pretty dumb (outside of the other obvious reasons it's dumb).

Really now makes me think that it very well may have been a planned distraction to allow for that.

Now why you need to do that after he just beat on him for almost 20 minutes doesn't make much sense, to just get in a few extra shots on Conor, but it does intrigue me.

Didn’t like the end to the fight, I’ll be staggered if the trainer/s who punched McGregor are not given lengthy bans. That been said, Khabib fully deserved the win and was very dominant. Right now in the division or round that weight, I don’t see anybody who has much chance against Khabib. It shows that currently wrestling trumps other disciplines and if you’re dominant in that field, you are near impossible to beat unless somebody somehow lands a huge shot before the grappling inevitably starts.

The fight was on YouTube for a second and I got to see it....I went to watch some of it again and bammo, it was taken down for copyright issues McGregor looked like he hadn't fought in ages and got womped like a little girl

Reading all of your posts, it seems like this is what you want. Khabib will get a "suspension", but it won't really matter. Conor vs Khabib II is already on deck. The UFC and Dana LOVED what Khabib did deep down behind the half hearted "there will be consequence" statements. They can now exploit it for even more PPV buys and even more money. That's what Dana loves!

I'm a Khabib fan and I totally understand why he did what he did. When someone insults your country, father, religion, and throws a dolly at your bus (which injured fighters and cost them money), you're going to get caught up in the emotion of the win and not think rationally. UFC security also did an extremely poor job with only one guy there.

Also, if Conor has gotten away with the dolly incident and jumping the cage at another promotion and trying to fight the official when told to leave (among many other things), I am sure Khabib is also going to get a slap on the wrist so that they can set up a rematch. With this to build the second fight off of, Vegas, UFC, and Dana ALL win.
